Memorize something is a kind of mania for most of the people. If we go through the history, we get to know that most of the successful people had immense memory. A strong memory depends on the healthiness and vitality of your mind. Improving mental performance is necessary to succeed in every field whether you are student or an employee. Now the question is that, “How to improve memory”?

Actually, there are two features in anything, which we can easily memorize.
1. Importance
We do not remember things, which have less or no importance among us. The belongings that are important to us can commit to our memory.
2. Necessity
We also do not memorize things, which are less necessary to us. Necessary things can automatically absorbed by our mind. Some things are timely necessary. They usually get out from our mind when their importance has ended.

There are two types of memories, which do not need to emphasize.
1. Permanent memory
In our permanent memory, most pleasurable or most tragic moments of our life will accumulate, which stay with us through out of our life.
2. Temporary memory
This memory processes with the things, which has no significance importance or necessity among us. We usually forget things with in very short time in this sort of memory.

Other than these two memories, there is a memory, which we have to focus on. From all our senses, there are mainly three senses, which play a fundamental role in memorizing anything. These three includes, vision, touch and listening.

Now there are some tips, which help you in improving your memory.
1. Visualize things
We usually memorize things for a long time of which we made a picture in our mind. Movies retained in our mind for a long period is a good example.

2. Stress
Stress is an enemy of our mind. When we feel stressed or depressed, we cannot remember anything. Therefore, to memorize something, peace of mind is a necessary key. You can also try meditation exercises.

3. Sleep well
When you do not sleep well, your brain cannot function at full capacity. Research illustrates that sleep is essential for memory consolidation.

4. I-factor
We usually memorize things in which we deliberately involve ourselves.

5. Use glucose and fish oil
Glucose and fish oil is good nourishment for our mind. Therefore, we should intake glucose and fish oil to enhance our memory.

6. Healthy relationships
Relationships motivate our brains. Therefore, interacting with others is the best kind of brain exercise. Maintaining momentous relationships and a strong support system are crucial not only to emotional health, but also for brain well being.

7. Games
Play puzzles and brain games like scrabble for working out of your mind. It is a very delightful way to enhance efficiency of our mind.

8. Pray
When made God our companion, he helped us from various ways. Hence, offering prayer is an important factor to memorize things.
