Forests cover almost 30% of world's area. As the population increases, the demand of wood also increases day by day.

This wood may be used for various purposes e.g

  • as feul-wood
  • as timber-wood

Now, here is the point that is to be noted, we are cutting the trees enormously but we are not growing the trees with that much pace. The result is decline of Forests. Here in our country this situation is very alarming. The reasons are

  • Lack of sustained forest policy
  • Low land area under forests
  • Mismanagement
  • Lack of awareness
  • No quality education in this area

Now we have to think about these problems and how to tackle these. Because in a research it has been predicted that by 2050 there will be great climate change on our globe.
