Chairman National Accountability Bureau, Lt. Gen. (R) Nazir Ahmad Butt, attended an anti-bribery awareness session at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) as the chief guest. The event was hosted by President UMT and former federal minister, Ibrahim Hasan Murad.
The session emphasized the critical role of youth in promoting transparency, ethical conduct, and institutional accountability. Students were encouraged to become agents of positive change by upholding integrity and rejecting corrupt practices in all walks of life.
Speakers highlighted that the Pakistan envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was founded on honesty, discipline, and selfless service. Building such a nation requires not only professional excellence but also strong moral values and responsible leadership.
Accountability builds public confidence, while integrity ensures the long-term strength of institutions. These principles remain essential for sustainable national development.
This commitment to ethics and responsibility is how nations truly progress.
