ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- For BS: Minimum 45% Mark in Intermediate / A-Level or equivalent in relevant field. Furthermore, programs under the preview of accreditation councils shall follow the eligibility criteria prescribed by their respective accreditation bodies.
- For MS 15% marks: 14 years of formal education (B.Sc. or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks, and Intermediate (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, the candidate must qualify the KUM Admission test, where applicable.
- Eligibility for admission in MS Food Science and Technology program shall be BS/B.Sc. (Hons) in Food Science/Food Technology/Food Science & Technology/BSc Hons Agriculture with Major Food Technology, BS Food Safety, BS Food and Nutrition and BS Human Nutrition and Dietetics, which must be equivalent to 16 years of education from any recognized institution.
- The candidates have to fulfill all requirements for admission as per the rules of Kohsar University Murree for Master's degree program (MS) in accordance with HEC Guidelines.
- Degree Completion Requirement: BS and MS degrees will be awarded on completion of minimum requirements according to Kohsar University Murree and HEC policies.
- University reserves the right to cancel admission in any program.

HOW TO APPLY
- For admission, applicants are required to apply through the online admission portal available on the University website (www.kum.edu.pk).
- After completing the online process, application must be submitted to the concerned department through Registrar Office Admin Block Kohsar University Murree.
- The applicants must be accompanied with Original Demand Draft amounting Rs 1000/=in favor of "Treasurer Kohsar University Murree" or Online pay in KOHSAR UNIVERSITY MURREE ACCOUNT "5310321726400017. (NOTE: Please attach Deposit slip)
- Applicants can mention a maximum of three preferences for which they want to get admission on the same application form.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The University reserves the right to discontinue, postpone, or not offer any academic program. As a general rule, a minimum cohort of ten (10) students is required to commence classes for a BS program. However, the Competent Authority may relax this requirement in the case of special circumstances.
Applicants holding O-Level, A-Level, Deni Asnad, or foreign qualifications shall submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) or any other competent authority, as applicable, at the time of admission or within the period prescribed by the University. Failure to submit the required equivalence certificate within the stipulated time may result in the cancellation of admission.
All admissions to the University shall be offered on a provisional basis. Where the final result of the previous examination is awaited, the submission of a Hope Certificate or an affidavit (where applicable) issued by the school or college last attended may serve as the basis for granting provisional admission. The provisional admission shall be confirmed upon submission of the final result, provided that the applicant satisfies all prescribed eligibility criteria and submits all required documents within the stipulated time.
Applicants with special abilities are encouraged to apply and shall be provided with necessary facilitation in accordance with the University's policies and applicable laws.
The University reserves the right to verify the authenticity of all academic credentials, certificates, transcripts, and other documents submitted by applicants at any stage of the admission process. If any information or document is found to be false, forged, misleading, or concocted, the admission may be cancelled without prior notice and may take appropriate action in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
The University reserves the right to amend, modify, interpret, or withdraw any provision of the admission policy, eligibility criteria, fee structure, or academic offerings at any time with the approval of the Competent Authority, without incurring any liability.
Applicants may indicate up to three (3) preferences in a single application for admission to degree programs. The order of preference specified by the applicant shall be considered during the merit determination and seat allocation process.
