  • Qualification: Intermediate (12 years schooling), DAE, or A-Level (HSSC) or equivalent.

• Associate Degree Programs:

  • Minimum Marks: 50% marks for AD Computing.

• BS 5th Semester Programs:

• MS/M.Phil Programs:

  • Qualification: 16 years of education in a relevant discipline.

  • Minimum Marks: 2nd Division (Annual System) or CGPA 2.50/4.00 or 3.55/5.00 (Semester System).

  • Admission Test: 50% marks in the University Admission Test or 50% marks in GRE/HAT General or equivalent.

• PhD Programs:

  • Qualification: MS/M.Phil or equivalent from an HEC recognized University in a relevant discipline.

  • Minimum Marks: CGPA 3.00/4.00 or 3.50/5.00.

  • Admission Test: 60% marks in UGAT(GEN) Test or 60% in GRE/HAT General or equivalent.

5. Specific Program Notes and Conditions

• Deficiency Courses: Students with a non-mathematics background must pass deficiency courses of Mathematics (6 credit hours) in the first year for programs like Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, and Software Engineering.

• LLB Admission: Valid LAT (conducted by HEC) is compulsory.

• BS Architecture: Passing the drawing test conducted by the department is compulsory.

• Admission Basis: Admission will be offered on the basis of the first-year result of intermediate or equivalent. For BS 5th Semester, the complete result of AD or equivalent is required.

• Manual Application: In case of internet unavailability, applicants can obtain a hard copy of the Application Form and manual Fee Challan from the Directorate of Students' Affairs (DSA) and submit manually.

• NOC Requirement: In-service employees must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

• Interview: Recommended candidates must bring their Original Documents at the time of the Interview.

• Application Fee: Rs. 2200/- for BS/BS 5th Semester/MS/M.Phil/PhD Programs (via online generated challan at HBL).

• Extra Application Fee: An additional fee of Rs. 1210/- for each extra application.

• Entry Test Fee:

  • Rs. 1210/- for BS Programs.

  • Rs. 3300/- for the UGAT Test (MS/M.Phil/PhD Programs).

• Document Submission: No hard copy or other credentials are required except the original fee challans. These must be sent through courier/postal service to the address of the Directorate of Students' Affairs.
