NOTICE FOR ADMISSION
Livestock Assistant Diploma (LAD) 2026-2028

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Livestock Assistant Diploma (LAD) program for the session 2026-2028 at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Pattoki Campus, and its affiliated institutions.

Admission Conditions:

1. Domicile: Only candidates holding domicile of Punjab Province and who have passed the current year's Matriculation examination from any Education Board of Punjab Province will be eligible to submit admission forms.

2. Provisional Admission: Candidates awaiting the result of Matriculation or equivalent (Annual Examination 2026) will be eligible to apply, provided they have passed all subjects of Class 9th (Annual Examination 2025). Additionally, they must have obtained a minimum of 450 marks in Science subjects (including practicals) collectively.

3. Merit Determination: Merit will be determined based on the results of candidates who have passed Matriculation or equivalent before 2025.

4. Result-Awaiting Candidates: Candidates awaiting results will be admitted on a provisional basis on the condition that they successfully pass the Matriculation or equivalent Annual Examination 2026 and achieve the minimum eligibility criteria (450 marks) for the LAD program. If they fail to meet this requirement, their admission will be cancelled and the deposited fee will not be refunded.

5. Age Limit: There is no age limit for admission (Education for All).

6. Merit Basis: Admission will be granted purely on an Open Merit basis within Punjab Province.

Documents Required (Scanned Copies to be Uploaded):

Candidates must scan the following attested documents along with a passport-size photograph with a white background and upload them to the specified location on the admission form:

• Documents must be in PDF format (Max size: 300KB)

• Photographs must be in JPEG format (Max size: 300KB)

(i) Matriculation Certificate (2025 or prior — not the current year)
(ii) Domicile Certificate
(iii) National Identity Card (B-Form for minors)
(iv) Two Passport-size Photographs (with white background)
(v) Attested Certificate from the relevant rural institution (PDF file, size 300KB) — to be uploaded online.

Application Process:

• Candidates employed at UVAS who wish to apply for admission, as well as candidates from minority quotas, must fill out the admission form online via the university website: http://www.uvas.edu.pk

• Application Fee:

  • For one shift: Rs. 1,000/-

  • For Morning & Evening Shifts (separately): Rs. 500/- each

• Fee Deposit Method: The challan form can be downloaded and deposited in any branch of the designated bank. Fee can be deposited via:

  1. Credit/Debit Card of any bank

  2. Any online banking app through the given link (1link)

• Important: Keep the challan form receipt safe for your record.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

• Internet Connection: Candidates are advised to ensure their internet connection does not switch networks during the admission generation process.

• Email Address: Provide a valid and active email address on the online admission form to receive all admission-related information.

Note: All lists for reserved quotas will be displayed on the university website on Wednesday, 09-09-2026.

Additional Instructions:

15. No Individual Intimation: The university will not be responsible for individually intimating candidates about their names appearing on the merit list. Candidates are advised to regularly check the university website for merit lists according to their respective centres.

16. Document Verification: After fee submission, candidates must submit the attested copies of all documents along with the challan receipt on Wednesday, 23-09-2026 (the commencement day).

17. Hostel Accommodation: Hostel facilities will be available in the respective institutes based on the institute's rules, regulations, and merit.

18. Selection of Campuses: In case of selection for more than one campus, the candidate's choice will be determined strictly on a merit basis.

19. No Transfer: Once admitted, no transfer will be permitted.

20. Commencement of Classes: Classes at all centres will begin on Wednesday, 23-09-2026.
