1. ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

The University of Sargodha (UOS) is a general public sector university in Punjab, recognized as an X-Category Research University by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in its 2025 evaluation. The university invites applications for admission to its undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs for the Fall 2026 semester.

4. ADMISSION TESTS, INTERVIEWS & TRIALS

All tests shall be conducted in the concerned Department/College/Institute at 09:00 AM.

5. SELF-FINANCE ADMISSION

Ten (10) seats in each program (undergraduate and graduate, except where an external body/council is involved) are reserved for Self Finance admission.
Each Self Finance student shall pay PKR 100,000 (one lac) per year in addition to the normal semester fee.
All admission regulations, including eligibility criteria, apply equally to Self Finance seats.

6. STUDENT ALERTS & IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Merit list responsibility: Candidates are responsible for visiting the University website to view their respective merit lists as per the given schedule. No separate information will be provided.
Merit determination: Merit is determined on a percentage basis. If a candidate's transcript does not contain the percentage, it is the candidate's responsibility to obtain a duly verified percentage certificate from the previous institution before the last date of online application submission.
Reporting requirement: Candidates must report through their online admission portal within the given time to be considered for admission on merit. Failure to report may result in loss of the right to admission.
Correction of particulars: Candidates unable to correct their particulars/marks or deposit fee/dues within the given time may lose their right to admission.
No separate information: The University shall not provide individual notifications regarding merit lists or admission status.

7. ADDITIONAL NOTES

All MS/MPhil/MSc (Hons)/PhD programs are self-support programs; however, merit lists of these programs will be displayed alongside regular programs.
Candidates having an MS/MPhil degree without Research/Thesis are not eligible to apply for PhD Degree Programs.
Nominations from relevant agencies/departments/provincial territories/GHQ against reserved seats must reach the Admission Office, University of Sargodha, on or before October 12, 2026.

11. IMPORTANT WARNING

Provision of fake/false/incorrect information at the time of admission shall be liable to:

Cancellation of the candidate's admission

Expulsion from the University at any stage

Forfeiture of all fee and other dues paid by the candidate up to that time

The student and his/her father/guardian would also be liable to any further departmental or legal action that the University may deem fit to take.
