BRIEF PROFILE OF UNIVERSITY OF NAROWAL

The University of Narowal is located in the city of Narowal, which is one hour away from Lahore and Sialkot. It is a premier public-sector institution located in the historic city of Narowal, Punjab, and is emerging as a modern centre of quality in conduct, knowledge, and skills. It was established as an independent public-sector university in March 2018, following the upgradation of the Sub-Campus of the University of Gujrat (UOG), Narowal, vide the University of Narowal Act 2018 (X of 2018) passed by the Punjab Assembly and assented to by the Governor of Punjab. This milestone marked the beginning of a new era in higher education in the region, aimed at expanding access to quality education, promoting research, and fostering innovation. In the Fall 2026 semester, the university is offering 23 BS, 11 M. Phil, and 7 PhD programs. At present, the university has a student strength of more than 7,000. Most of the faculty comprises highly experienced PhD scholars, many of whom earned their degrees from prestigious national and international universities.

The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of seats, or to suspend, modify, postpone, or cancel any academic program, subject to regulatory requirements and institutional needs without prior notice. The University's decision in this regard shall be final.

HOW TO APPLY?

• Go to UON Website admissions.uon.edu.pk
• Create a new account.
• Fill out the online admission form.
• Generate the bank challan.
• Pay the admission fee at any Bank of Punjab branch or through any online mode of payment
• Rs. 1,000 for one programme.
  Rs. 1,000 for each additional programme.
• Upload the paid challan to the admission portal.
• Submit hard copies of the admission forms along with all required supporting documents to the Admission Office.
