M.Phil. & Ph.D. ADMISSION PROGRAM-2026

PCMD (Molecular Medicine)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR M. Phil.
M.Sc. or four years B.S. degree in the disciplines of Biochemistry / Genetics / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Medical Technology / Biomedical Engineering / Physiology / Zoology, or equivalent professional degrees such as M.B.B.S. / B. Sc. / B. Pharm. and Pharm. D. or equivalent qualification with at least second division from an HEC recognized university / institution. However, candidates with M.B.B.S., B.D.S., D.V.M. or equivalent will be required to successfully complete 15-Credit Hour Courses (300-600 Level) before undertaking 24-Credit Hour M.Phil. Courses (700 Level). 		H.E.J. / I.T.W.C. (Chemistry / Pharmacology)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR M. Phil.
M.Sc. / B.S. (Four years) degree in the relevant disciplines of Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Biochemistry / Applied Chemistry / B. Pharm. / Pharm. D. or equivalent qualification with at least second division from an HEC recognized university / institution. However, candidates with M.B.B.S., B.D.S., D.V.M. or equivalent will be required to successfully complete 15-Credit Hours Courses (300-600 Level) before undertaking 24-Credit Hour M. Phil. Courses (700 Level).

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS

  1. Admission prospectus and KARACHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST FORM can be downloaded from the websites (www.uok.edu.pk / http://iccs.uok.edu.pk/academics) and a complete application form along with required documents & processing fee of Rs. 8000/- should be submitted to the Academic Coordination Office (Room No. 107) from Monday, July 06, 2026 to Wednesday, July 08, 2026. Incomplete and late applications will not be entertained.
  2. List of eligible candidates for KARACHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST will be displayed on website (www.uok.edu.pk / http://iccs.uok.edu.pk/academics) on Monday, July 20, 2026.
  3. Eligible candidates for KARACHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST will be required to collect Admit Cards during July 23, 2026 to July 24, 2026 from the Academic Coordination Office (Room No. WO-2).
  4. The Karachi University Entrance Test will be held on SUNDAY, JULY 26, 2026 and all the eligible candidates will have to report at 09:30 a.m. along with Admit Card and Original CNIC.   5. List of candidates who have passed KARACHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST will be announced on website on Sunday, August 02, 2026.
