ADMISSIONS IN CHINESE LANGUAGE (SPRING SESSION 2025)

Certificate Courses Offered:

• Basic Chinese (HSK-I)

• Young Chinese (YCT-1)

Class Schedules:

• Morning Classes: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (Two days a week)

• Afternoon Classes: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Two days a week)

• Weekend Classes: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Saturday & Sunday)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Basic Chinese (HSK-I):

   • Intermediate with a minimum of 45% marks (Second Division)

2. Young Chinese (YCT-1):

   • Under Matric (Age limit: 10 to 16 years)

3. Levels 2 to 5:

   • Students willing to get admission in HSK-2 to HSK-5 should contact the Administration Office at the 2nd Floor, Department of Commerce, University of Karachi.

Fee Structure:

• Morning and Afternoon Classes: Rs. 8,000 per level

• Weekend Classes: Rs. 11,000 per level

• Young Chinese (Weekend only): Rs. 5,000 per level (Cost of teaching material/books included in the fee)

Admission Process:

• Application Forms: Available from Habib Bank Limited (HBL), University Campus Branch from 6th to 16th January 2025, between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on payment of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable).

• Submission Deadline: 16th January 2025

Important Dates:

• List of Selected Candidates: To be displayed at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, 22nd January 2025

• Fee Submission: From Thursday, 23rd January 2025 to Friday, 31st January 2025

• Commencement of Classes: Monday, 10th February 2025
