POSTGRADUATE ENTRANCE TEST (PGET) - 2026

ISSUANCE OF ADMITTANCE CARDS AND IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, shall conduct the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) 2026 for admission to Level III postgraduate medical and dental programmes in Punjab under the Central Induction Policy on Sunday, 25 October 2026. The examination shall be held simultaneously at Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Multan.

All registered candidates are hereby directed to download their Admittance Cards and strictly comply with the instructions set out below.

(A) ISSUANCE OF ADMITTANCE CARDS

1. All candidates duly registered for PGET-2026 shall download and print their Admittance Cards, bearing their respective roll numbers and allotted examination centres. The Admittance Cards shall be available for download with effect from Thursday, 15 October 2026, at 09:00 A.M.

2. Candidates shall access their Admittance Cards by logging in to the PGET-2026 registration portal at https://admissions.uhs.edu.pk/pget using the same email address and password employed at the time of registration.

3. Each candidate shall download and print the Admittance Card on plain white A4-size paper and bring the printed copy to the examination centre.

4. The particulars printed on the Admittance Card shall correspond to the information furnished by the candidate during registration on the UHS portal. In case a candidate is unable to download the Admittance Card or notices any discrepancy in their name, father's/guardian's name, gender, CNIC/passport number, or photograph, the matter shall be reported immediately to UHS through pget@uhs.edu.pk, accompanied by relevant documentary evidence for verification and necessary action.

(B) INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

1. Mandatory Identification Documents

Every candidate shall bring the following documents to the examination centre:

• (a) A printed copy of the PGET-2026 Admittance Card; and

• (b) The original and valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or passport.

Possession and presentation of the original and valid CNIC or passport shall be mandatory for entry into the examination centre and appearance in the examination. No candidate shall be permitted to enter the examination centre or sit the examination without producing an acceptable original identity document.

No alternative document shall be accepted in lieu of the original and valid CNIC or passport. Any other document such as B-Form/Child Registration Certificate (CRC), domicile certificate, Family Registration Certificate (FRC), birth certificate, Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), or driving licence shall not be acceptable.

Photocopies (colored or black & white) of identity documents and digital CNICs displayed on mobile phones shall not be accepted under any circumstances.

2. Reporting Time, Examination Schedule, and Attendance

• The examination centres shall open for candidates at 08:00 A.M. on Sunday, 25 October 2026.

• All candidates shall report to their respective examination centres before 09:00 A.M. Entry into the examination centre shall be strictly prohibited after 09:00 A.M. No request for late entry shall be entertained.

The examination shall be conducted according to the following schedule:

A break of thirty (30) minutes shall be provided between the two papers.

Drinking water and light refreshments shall be provided by the University during the examination.

After completing the prescribed entry and security screening before the commencement of Paper I, candidates shall remain within the examination centre until the conclusion of Paper II. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the examination centre before the examination is over.

3. Prohibited Items and Unfair Means

The possession or use of the following items within the examination centre shall be strictly prohibited:

• Mobile phones

• Calculators

• Books, notes, or any other written or printed material

• Weapons or any other arms

• Smartwatches or digital watches

• Smart glasses

• Any electronic, communication, wireless, or Bluetooth-enabled device, or any other item prohibited by the examination authorities

Any candidate found in possession of or using a prohibited item shall be liable to immediate expulsion from the examination centre and cancellation of the relevant paper, in accordance with the applicable Unfair Means Case (UMC) Regulations. Any further action permissible under the applicable rules and regulations may also be taken.

No facility for the safekeeping of personal belongings or valuables, including mobile phones, bags, and other prohibited items, shall be provided at the examination centres.

4. Mandatory Examination Stationery

Every candidate shall bring the following items:

• (a) One transparent clipboard; and

• (b) Two blue or black ballpoint pens.

Lead pencils, markers, pointers, and correction fluids shall not be permitted.

(C) GENERAL COMPLIANCE

It shall be the sole responsibility of each candidate to establish their identity at the examination centre by producing the original and valid CNIC or passport, together with the printed Admittance Card. Candidates presenting photocopied, invalid, unverified, or illegible identity documents shall not be permitted to appear in the examination.

All candidates are required to read and comply with these instructions. Failure to comply with any of the prescribed requirements may result in denial of entry, refusal of permission to sit the examination, or other action in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations of the University.
