PUBLIC NOTICE: MDCAT-2026 FOR MBBS/BDS ADMISSIONS

The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) announces the official schedule, fee matrix, and structural guidelines for the Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT-2026). The examination will be held simultaneously across Pakistan and select international venues on Sunday, 16th August 2026.

Conducting Universities & Provincial Jurisdiction

The MDCAT-2026 examination will be administered under a centralized framework by the following designated provincial/regional universities:

• Punjab Province: University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore.

• Sindh Province: Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur.

• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Province: Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar.

• Federal Capital, AJ&K, Gilgit-Baltistan & International Venues: Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), Islamabad (handling Islamabad Capital Territory, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia centers).

Core Examination Structural Framework

• Testing Medium: The MDCAT-2026 will be a multiple-choice (MCQ), paper-based physical examination.

• Center Allocation: Candidates must carefully choose their target city/center during digital submission based on personal accessibility. Centers remain subject to final applicant distribution density.
