Public Notice: Migration of BSN Generic (4-Year Degree Program) Students

In Public Sector Nursing Colleges of Punjab (Fall 2026)

Pursuant to the Migration Policy notified by the Government of Punjab on 13 May 2026, online applications are invited from eligible students seeking migration into the 2nd and 3rd years of the BSN Generic program.

### A. Eligibility Criteria

Only candidates who have explicitly passed their previous professional years or semesters are eligible to apply based on their academic framework:

⚠️ Ineligibility: Candidates who have failed any subjects and are currently awaiting supplementary examination results are not eligible to apply.

### B. General Conditions & Restrictions

Merit-Based: Migration will be allowed strictly on a merit-cum-preference basis.
Timeline Restrictions: Migration is completely prohibited during the First Year (1st & 2nd semesters) and the Final Year of the degree program.
No System/Shift Changes: Migration between Morning and Evening shifts, or between Annual and Semester systems, is not allowed.
Frequency: Students can migrate only once during the entire 4-year program.
Geographical Rules: Migration within the same city or mutual migration between two students is strictly barred.

### C. Application Procedure

Submission Mode: Exclusively online through the UHS Migration Portal at www.uhs.edu.pk. Manual or hard copy applications will be rejected.
Institutional Preference: Applicants must accurately list their order of preference for destination colleges (where vacancies exist). Once submitted, preferences cannot be revised.
Processing Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- must be deposited using the system-generated challan at any branch of the Bank of Punjab (BOP) or via online banking. Proof of payment must be uploaded online.
Required Documents: Scanned copies (in image format, max 1MB per document) of the following must be uploaded:
- CNIC / B-Form (both sides).
- Matriculation Certificate / Result Card (or equivalent).
- F.Sc. Certificate / Result Card (or equivalent).
- Detailed Mark Certificates (DMCs) of all professional nursing examinations passed.
- Current College Identity Card (both sides).
- A certificate signed by the current College Principal confirming clear dues, satisfactory attendance, and no pending disciplinary actions.

### E. Merit Determination & Final Selection

Vacancies: The list of available vacant seats across colleges is published on www.uhs.edu.pk.
Merit Formula: Merit is strictly calculated based on F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) marks. Subsequent marks improvement will not be considered.
- Tie-Breaker 1: Higher marks in Matric (Science Group).
- Tie-Breaker 2: Preference given to the candidate older in age.
Joining Period: Selected candidates must join their new college within seven (07) days of the display of the selection list. Failure to do so will cancel the migration entry and block the student from applying again.
Final Approval: Ultimate migration orders are issued by the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of the Punjab.
