M.Sc./M.Phil./Masters/MS Admissions – Fall 2025

General Instructions & Eligibility Criteria

• Basic Requirement:

  • Accredited undergraduate degree (16 years of education) in the relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university.

• Minimum Academic Criteria:

  • CGPA of 2.0/4.0 under the semester system.

  • Minimum 50% score in the entrance test conducted by the university.

• Equivalency Rules:

  • HEC’s conversion formula will be applied for annual system degrees.

  • If both percentage and CGPA are listed on the transcript, CGPA will be considered.

  • Non-4.0 scale CGPAs will be translated accordingly.

Admission Test & Interview

• Test Details:

  • 80% subject-specific, 20% general knowledge.

  • Test dates: August 15–19, 2025 (held at Main Campus).

  • Admit cards will be issued by departments after application submission.

• Interview:

  • Candidates scoring at least 50% raw score in the test will be invited.

  • Interview dates: August 20–22, 2025.

• Merit Aggregate Formula:

  • Academic Record (16 years): 40%

  • Admission Test: 40%

  • Interview: 20%
