Admissions to B.Sc. Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Technology (B.Tech), and B.Architecture Programs (Academic Session 2026–27)

Introduction

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar, in collaboration with the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA), invites eligible candidates to register for the Computer-Based Entrance Test (CBT) for admission to undergraduate engineering, engineering technology, and architecture programs offered by public and private sector engineering universities and colleges located within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the policy of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), candidates seeking admission to engineering degree programs are required to appear in at least two separate entrance tests conducted through ETEA.

Purpose of the Test

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) serves as a mandatory requirement for admission into:

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Engineering Programs
• Bachelor of Engineering Technology (B.Tech) Programs
• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Architecture) Programs

Applicable Institutions

All Public and Private Sector Engineering Universities and Colleges operating within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill one of the following requirements:

Academic Qualification

• Passed Matriculation/SSC Examination in First Division with at least 60% marks or equivalent.
• Passed F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board or institution.
• Holders of a three-year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) are also eligible.
• In-service candidates from Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Bodies may apply.

Test Fee

• Application Fee: Rs. 1,000 per test
• The fee is non-refundable.
• Candidates wishing to appear in both tests must submit separate applications and fees for each test.

Important Features

• Computer-Based Testing (CBT) System.
• No Negative Marking.
• Test results will be displayed immediately on the candidate's computer screen after completion of the test.
• Roll Number Slips will be issued one week before the test date.
• Roll Number Slips will contain the test date, time, and examination center details.

Application Procedure

Step 1

Visit the ETEA online registration portal and complete the application form.

Step 2

Deposit the prescribed test fee of Rs. 1,000 through the designated banking channels.

Step 3

Download and print the Roll Number Slip when issued.

Step 4

Appear in the Computer-Based Entrance Test on the scheduled date.

Step 5

After the test, candidates must apply separately for admission to UET Peshawar and other participating institutions according to the admission schedule announced by the university.
