Programs Offered

1. PhD in Nursing Program

Eligibility Criteria:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or MSN equivalent for foreign students, such as the Nurse Practitioner program.

• Minimum CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 in a semester system, or minimum first division in the annual system from HEC and PNC-recognized institutes/universities.

• The candidate must have taken Nursing Theories and Biostatistics courses in their MSN program. Students who do not have these subjects may consult the Student Affairs Office.

• IELTS-Academic minimum score 6.5, with no less than 6 in any component.

• Passing Entry Test & Interview of the College.

Application Requirements for PhD:

• Completed online application form.

• Statement of interest (rationale for seeking admission into the PhD program).

• Description of a proposed research project in PhD (up to 2000 words).

• Attested copies of academic and professional degrees and certificates.

• 18 years of education equivalence certificate from HEC.

• Valid PNC registration/equivalent (for foreigners).

• Two references (one from immediate supervisor and one from the last academic institution).

• NOC from the employer.

2. MSN — Master of Science in Nursing

Sub-specialties offered:

• Critical Care

• Education

• Leadership & Management

Eligibility Criteria:

• 03 Years General Nursing Diploma

• 04 Years Generic BSN Degree Program

• 01 Year Midwifery Diploma or Post Basic Specialty Diploma

• 02 Years Post-RN BSN Degree Program

• 02 Years of Clinical Experience, excluding 01 year internship

• Pakistan Studies & Islamiat/Ethics at bachelor's level

• OR Valid registration of all professional qualifications with PNC

• Passing Entry Test & Interview of the College

Program Duration: 02 Years

3. BSN — Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Eligibility Criteria:

• 02 Years of Clinical Experience

• Valid registration of all professional qualifications with PNC

• Passing Entry Test & Interview of the College

• Matric with Science as per HEC requirements (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects)

• Diploma in General Nursing

• Diploma in Midwifery or any other specialty

• 01 year clinical experience

• Valid registration of all professional qualifications with PNC

• Passing Entry Test & Interview of the College

Application Instructions

• Prospectus & Application Processing Fee Voucher of Rs. 5,300/- (for MSN/BSN) and Rs. 7,500/- (for PhD) is to be submitted at any branch of HBL at any city.

• Candidates are advised to send the paid fee voucher and attested copies of all required documents to the Student Affairs Office before the last date.
