ADMISSION NOTICE – Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges (Session 2026-27)

Overview

Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), Islamabad, being the Admitting University, invites applications for admission to First Year MBBS and BDS programs in the following Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges in Islamabad for the Academic Session 2026-2027.

Eligibility Criteria

In accordance with the PM&DC Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admissions, Curriculum and Conduct) Policy and Regulations 2020, the basic eligibility criteria are:

Admission Procedure

1. Eligible applicants must visit the SZABMU admission portal: https://admission.szabmu.edu.pk/private/

2. The application process is completely online. Manual or paper-based applications shall not be accepted. Only completed and submitted online applications will be considered.

3. Registration: Applicants must first register on the web portal using Name, CNIC/NICOP/Passport, e-mail ID, and a password.

4. Application Form Steps:

   • (e) Apply separately for Medical or Dental programs

5. Fee Payment: Applicant must print the application processing fee challan from the online admission portal, deposit the fee, and upload the paid challan on the portal.

   • Separate fee for each program: MBBS – Rs. 3,000/- and BDS – Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable / non-adjustable)

6. Finality: Application form, once submitted, cannot be changed by the applicant.

7. College Preferences: Choose colleges in order of preference from the dropdown menu. There is no limitation on the number of colleges that may be selected; however, at least one preference must be specified to complete submission. A candidate shall not be considered for a college not selected in his/her order of preferences.

8. The order of college preference becomes final and unchangeable once the application is submitted.

Important Instructions

1. The entire submission process is online; no hard copy of the application needs to be submitted to the University.

2. Incomplete / not submitted / deficient application forms shall not be entertained. Applications once submitted shall be considered final.

3. Applicants not meeting eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission.

4. As per PM&DC Regulations 2025, admissions to medical and dental programs shall be conducted separately; each student must apply separately for the medical or dental program. No applicant is eligible for admission without application submission to the respective program.

5. Applicants must give an order of preference for Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges. A college not included in the preference list shall not be considered for admission.

6. Original scanned documents must be uploaded in JPEG or JPG format only, with file size not exceeding 512KB per document.

7. The applicant is solely responsible for uploading documents appropriately. Failure to upload correct documents will lead to rejection of the application without notice; the University shall not be responsible.

8. Selected applicants must deposit their fee (after securing a position in the merit list) within the due date; failing this, provisional admission will be deemed cancelled and the next applicant on the waiting merit list will be offered admission.

9. The University shall cancel any provisional admission where credentials are not verified at any stage.

10. Any applicant found to have submitted forged certificates or fake documents/information at any stage shall be debarred from admission to any Medical/Dental institution under the rules, and their admission shall stand CANCELLED.
