ADMISSION NOTICE – POSTGRADUATE COURSES, ACADEMIC SESSION JANUARY 2027

Applications on prescribed forms are invited from Sindh Domicile candidates for admissions to Training/Residency programs for the Session January 2027 at SMBBMU, Larkana.

2. Eligibility Criteria

General Requirements (all candidates):

• Valid Registration Certificate of PM&DC

• One year House Job in a recognized teaching institute, preferably 06 months in the relevant specialty

3. Entry Test Fees

Note: No separate call letters shall be issued for Entry Test/Interviews & selection; candidates are advised to note the important dates given in the schedule.

1. Application Form: Can be downloaded from the University website: www.smbbmu.edu.pk

2. Fee Payment: Pay fees in Account Title "The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana-VC", Account No. PK84ALFH0723001010579758, Bank Alfalah.

3. Submission: Submit the paid receipt, complete filled application form, and two attested photocopy sets of all documents (along with photocopy of filled form) according to the checklist at the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, SMBBMU CMC Larkana.

4. Admit Card: Candidates are advised to confirm for admit card, time & venue two days prior to the entry test from the Postgraduate Directorate, SMBBMU Larkana.

5. Selection: Only those candidates who qualify the written entry test shall be called for interview. Selection shall be on the basis of merit against availability of number of seats.

6. Final Decision: The decision of the Postgraduate Committee in interview shall be final.

7. TA/DA: No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for appearing in entry test/interview.

8. Schedule Changes: The Postgraduate Directorate reserves the right of any modification in the schedule/courses/cancellation/re-conduction due to unavoidable circumstances.

9. Government Employees: Candidates in Government Service/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies or other Universities should apply through proper channel; otherwise their applications shall not be entertained. However, they can send an advance copy with relevant documents.

10. Cancellation & Appeal: The Postgraduate Selection Committee reserves the right to cancel any admission. However, candidates shall have the right to appeal with the Competent Authority within 02 weeks.

11. Non-Refundable Fees: Entry test & all other fees are non-refundable.

12. Incomplete/Late Forms: Incomplete forms & late-received applications shall not be entertained.

13. Hostel: Hostel accommodation will not be provided.

14. Forgery: Legal action will be taken for any forgery in documents.

15. Dip-Card Training: Training of Dip-Card will be at SICVD Larkana/Sukkur.

16. Recognition Status: Courses marked with an asterisk (*) are under process of recognition.

17. Quota: Quota for in-service candidates will be observed.
