MBBS/BDS Session 2026-27 | Private Sector Medical & Dental Colleges, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

INTRODUCTION

As per the notification No. SOH(E-18/KMU/N TEST/2024, dated 22nd July 2024, issued by the Department of Health, Government of KP, and Section 2(C) read with Section 5 of PMSDC Regulations — consequent upon the approval granted by the Provincial Cabinet in its meeting held on 27.06.2024 — Khyber Medical University is declared as the admitting university for conducting a transparent and centralized Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test for the academic session 2024-25 & onwards and for making admissions to MBBS/BDS.

Furthermore, KMU shall retain the initial payable admission/tuition fee being charged for admission to MBBS/BDS in the private sector until the time the students have obtained admissions in such deposited fee, whichever is earlier. In this event, KMU shall transfer the deposited fee to the Medical/Dental Colleges or to the student concerned, as the case may be.

Therefore, Khyber Medical University (KMU) invites applications from candidates desirous of admission in MBBS/BDS in the following Private Sector Medical & Dental Colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Note: Notifications and directives issued by the Federal Government, Provincial Government, PMSDC, or honorable courts concerning the inclusion or exclusion of colleges or any changes in seat allocation at any college in the above-mentioned list shall be adopted accordingly.

ELIGIBILITY

1. The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Medical) 12th grade with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent qualification from any BISE in Pakistan or abroad.

2. The candidate must have passed the Medical & Dental Colleges Admissions Test — MDCAT-2024 or MDCAT-2025 or MDCAT-2026 — with a minimum of:

   • 55% marks for MBBS

   • 50% marks for BDS

3. Candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Merged Districts (MDs) are eligible as per the applicable rules.

4. Candidates applying for Foreign Quota seats must fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down in Section (7) of PM&DC Undergraduate Education (Admissions, Curriculum and Conduct) Policy & Regulations 2023 and subsequent Notification issued by PM&DC No. PF-1-C-PM&DC/Notification/2025/910, dated 31st October 2025.

HOW TO APPLY

• Candidates shall apply online at the KMU admissions portal: https://caspr.kmu.edu.pk and follow on-screen instructions to complete the process.

• Hard copies of the application form through postal/courier are not acceptable.

• Candidates must produce original documents as evidence during the admission process.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Incomplete applications shall not be entertained.

2. Admission shall be made in order of priority in the designated fields.

3. Applications submitted by hand or through mail/courier shall not be accepted.

4. Candidates selected in any category shall have to deposit the fee after receiving the offer letter within three (03) working days in the KMU account as mentioned in the offer letter.

5. Only eligible candidates on the merit list will be offered admission to facilitate timely completion of the process.

6. Admission shall stand confirmed upon submission of original documents.

7. After allocation by PM&DC, candidates shall deposit the remaining balance of the prescribed fee with the respective colleges. The respective Medical/Dental Colleges may change fees as per applicable rules.

8. Any candidate found to have submitted forged certificates or false documents/information at any stage of admission shall be debarred from admission to any Medical/Dental institution under the rules. The admission of the candidate shall stand CANCELLED.

9. If any point is not clear regarding the admission process in the advertisement, then the KMU Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admissions, Curriculum and Conduct) Policy & Regulations 2025 will be consulted for final decision.

10. Separate call letters will be issued for interviews/placement till placement of candidates.
