Category I — Diploma Route:

• 10 years of schooling + 3-year Nursing Diploma

• 1-year Midwifery/Post Basic Specialty Diploma (specialty replaces Midwifery for males), PNMC-registered

• 1-year RN experience before Post RN admission

• 2-year Post RN BSN/BSM, PNMC-registered and PNC/HEC-compliant

• 1-year RN experience after Post RN BSN: clinical care, teaching, or research

Category II — Generic BSN Route:

• 12 years of schooling (F.Sc. Pre-Medical)

• 4-year Generic BSN, PNMC-registered

• 1-year bedside internship + 1-year RN clinical experience after GBSN, excluding internship
