Online applications are invited for admission to undergraduate programs across all campuses of UET Lahore.

## 1. Key Institutional Highlights

## 2. Program Offerings & Specific Eligibility

A. Computing & Computer Engineering Programs

Criteria: Requires F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering), ICS, or equivalent intermediate qualification with Mathematics. ECAT 2026 is required.

• Minimum 60% Marks Entry Barrier:

  • Computer Engineering: Offered at LHR. (Accredited by NCEAC)

• Minimum 50% Marks Entry Barrier:

  • Computer Science: Offered at All Campuses.

  • Artificial Intelligence: Offered at LHR, KSK.

  • Cyber Security: Offered at LHR.

  • Data Science: Offered at LHR.

  • Software Engineering: Offered at LHR, KSK, FSD.

  • Robotics and Intelligent Systems: Offered at LHR.

B. Engineering & Architecture Programs

Criteria: Requires F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering), ICS (with Math, Physics, and Computer Science), or equivalent. Minimum 60% marks in intermediate and a valid ECAT 2026 score are mandatory.

• Core Engineering Disciplines:

  • Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering: Offered at LHR, KSK, FSD, NWL, and RCET.

  • Architectural / Automotive / Chemical Engineering: Offered at LHR, KSK, FSD.

  • Mechatronics & Control / Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering: Offered at LHR, FSD.

  • Environmental / Transportation / Polymer Engineering: Offered at LHR.

• All Pakistan Basis Admissions (Open to all provinces):

  • Geological Engineering / Mining Engineering / Petroleum & Gas Engineering: Offered at LHR.

  • Metallurgical & Materials Engineering: Offered at LHR.

  • Biomedical Engineering: Offered at KSK, NWL (F.Sc. Pre-Medical students are also eligible).

  • Textile Engineering: Offered at FSD.

C. PCATP & Design Programs

• Architecture: Minimum 60% marks in Intermediate or equivalent. Offered at LHR.

• City & Regional Planning: Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate. Offered at LHR (Admission on All Pakistan basis).

• Product & Industrial Design / Interior Design: Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate. Offered at LHR (Admission on All Pakistan basis).

D. Business, Sciences & Non-ECAT Disciplines

Criteria: Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent. No ECAT/Entry Test required.

• Business Programs: Business Administration, Business Analytics, Business Data Analytics, Business Information Technology, Logistics & Supply Chain Management. (Offered at LHR).

• Natural Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Materials Science, Mathematics (Specializations in AI, Data Science, and IT).

• Applied Sciences: Food Science & Technology, Environmental Science, Remote Sensing & GIS, Energy Systems Management.

• Humanities: English Language and Literature, Islamic Studies (Specialization in Computer Technology).

## 3. Application Process & Financial Rules

1. Online Application: Register and apply entirely online via the admission portal: admission.uet.edu.pk. Physical submissions via courier or hand delivery will not be entertained.

2. Application Fee: A single processing fee of Rs. 3,000/- covers application submission to any and all eligible programs across the university. The token/challan fee is non-refundable.

3. On-Campus Processing Support: Candidates without computer or printer access can use facilities at the National Library of Engineering Sciences, UET Lahore, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM during working days.

4. Preferences Editing Fee: Modifying program preferences after submission will be allowed from July 12 to July 14, 2026, against a correction fee of Rs. 1,500/-.

Upon securing a position on the merit lists, candidates must physically submit their original documents:

1. Matriculation Certificate / SSC (or equivalent IBCC equivalence for foreign boards).

2. Intermediate Marksheet / HSSC (First year or complete).

3. Valid Punjab Domicile Certificate (or regional domicile for All Pakistan seats).
