ANNOUNCEMENT: DEDICATED USAT FOR QAU UNDERGRADUATE APPLICANTS

Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, in a joint venture with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, has announced a dedicated Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT). This exclusive testing slot is strictly organized for candidates who have applied or intend to apply for undergraduate programs at QAU for the Fall 2026 semester but missed out or could not register for the regular ongoing HEC USAT slots.

ELIGIBILITY & OPPORTUNITY MATRIX

Target Applicants: Both Pakistani and Foreign Nationals seeking undergraduate entry at QAU.
Academic Prerequisites: Candidates who have cleared their HSSC (Intermediate) examinations or have completed HSSC Part-1 / A-Level / equivalent exams.
Dual-Chance Framework:
- First Chance: For candidates who have not yet registered with HEC for any previous USAT slot this year.
- Second Chance: For candidates who are already registered but want to retake the test to improve their scores.

Candidates must select the specific test category that directly aligns with their background or intended undergraduate major. Note: Once chosen, this category cannot be altered.

Double-check your personal details (Name, CNIC/B-Form Number, Mobile number). You must use your own CNIC/B-Form; using a parent's or relative's ID is strictly banned. Any mismatch between your test center ID and profile data will result in immediate disqualification.

Generate your unique consumer number via the system. Deposit the non-refundable and non-transferable test processing fee through your online banking application or ATM using the 1Link / 1Bill invoice payment pipeline.

Once paid, return to your HEC ETC profile dashboard, click on the "Verify Payment" button, and formally submit your finalized application.

TEST DAY INSTRUCTIONS & REGULATIONS

⚠️ Mandatory Entry Prerequisite: A valid passed USAT result is absolutely compulsory for securing admission to any undergraduate program at QAU.

Roll Number Slips: Available for digital download from your HEC portal account exactly one week before the test (around mid-July 2026).
Identity Verification at Test Center: Candidates must bring a hardcopy printout of their Roll No. Slip along with their Original CNIC.
- Under-18 Candidates: If you do not have a NADRA CNIC, you must bring your Original B-Form along with an Original SSC/HSSC Certificate displaying a clear pictorial identity.
Test Centers: Conducted across major cities. Choose your test location with extreme care during registration; center change requests are completely barred. (Note: ETC reserves the right to re-assign centers if an explicit location receives fewer than 250 total applicants).
Banned Items & Security: Electronic devices including mobile phones, calculators, recording tools, earphones, or imaging systems are strictly prohibited inside the testing hall. Capturing, saving, or leaking photos of the question booklet is a criminal offense liable to severe punishment under HEC ETC rules.
