FCPS & MCPS Program for January 2025 Session

Programs Offered

4-Year FCPS Training Program (Level-I)

Available Disciplines:

• General Surgery
• General Medicine
• Pediatric Medicine
• Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Anesthesiology
• Diagnostic Radiology
• Forensic Medicine

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed and hold a valid FCPS Part-I to be eligible.

2-Year FCPS Training Program (Level-II)

Available Disciplines:

• Cardiac Surgery
• Pulmonology (3-Year Program)
• Urology (3-Year Program)
• Cardiology (3-Year Program)
• Clinical Hematology
• Neurosurgery (3-Year Program)

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed 2 years of FCPS Training in General Surgery or General Medicine (relevant discipline) and passed the IMM Exams to apply.

2-Year FCPS Training Program (Level-II)

Available Discipline:

• Interventional Radiology

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed FCPS Part-II in the relevant discipline to apply.

3-Year FCPS Training Program (Level-III)

Available Discipline:

• Gastroenterology

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed FCPS Part-II (General Medicine) to be eligible.

2-Year MCPS Training Program (Level-I)

Available Disciplines:

• Pediatric Medicine
• Anesthesiology
• Gynecology & Obstetrics

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed a One-Year House Job and hold a valid PMC/PMDC registration to apply.

Procedure for Admission

1. Last Date for Submission of Applications: 23rd January 2025
2. Interview Date: 25th January 2025, at 10:00 AM (respective departments)
3. Display of Selected Candidates List: 25th January 2025
4. Joining Date for Selected Candidates: 28th January 2025
5. Display of Second List: 30th January 2025

Procedure for Application

1. Download the Application Form:
   Visit www.gims.edu.pk to download the form.

2. Required Documents for All Candidates:

   • Completed application form
   • CV
   • Two passport-size photographs
   • Copy of CNIC
   • Copies of the following:
     • Matriculation certificate
     • F.Sc certificate
     • MBBS degree
     • MBBS detailed marks sheet
     • House job certificates
     • Valid PMC certificate
     • Congratulations letter for FCPS Part-I

3. Additional Documents for Level-II Induction:

   • All the above-mentioned documents
   • Congratulations letter for FCPS Part-I
   • Experience certificate for 2 years of training
   • All CPSP workshops certificates
   • BLS and IMM certificates

4. Additional Documents for Level-III Induction:

   • All the above-mentioned documents
   • Election/congratulation letter for FCPS Part-II
   • Updated PMC certificate (FCPS qualification added)
