Age Limit:

  • Candidates must not be older than 20 years on December 31, 2025.

  • Candidates from FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Balochistan are granted one-year relaxation, making the upper age limit 21 years by December 31, 2025.


Education, Training & Degree:

  • A 2-year residential training program will be conducted at Pakistan Marine Academy.

  • Upon completion, an Associate Degree in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering will be awarded by NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi.

  • IMO (International Maritime Organization) approved mandatory courses will be part of the training.


Academic Qualification:

  • Candidates must have passed FSc (Pre-Engineering) or A-Level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, achieving at least 60% marks.

  • O-Level/A-Level candidates must submit an Equivalence Certificate from IBCC along with the application.

  • Candidates awaiting A-Level Part II results, who scored at least 60% in Part I, can apply. However, they must submit a Hope Certificate from the head of their institution.

  • If such candidates fail to achieve 55% in final results, they will be declared ineligible at any stage.
