Age Limit:

Candidates must not be older than 20 years on December 31, 2025.

Candidates from FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Balochistan are granted one-year relaxation, making the upper age limit 21 years by December 31, 2025.
Education, Training & Degree:

A 2-year residential training program will be conducted at Pakistan Marine Academy.

Upon completion, an Associate Degree in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering will be awarded by NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi.

IMO (International Maritime Organization) approved mandatory courses will be part of the training.
Academic Qualification:

Candidates must have passed FSc (Pre-Engineering) or A-Level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, achieving at least 60% marks.

O-Level/A-Level candidates must submit an Equivalence Certificate from IBCC along with the application.

Candidates awaiting A-Level Part II results, who scored at least 60% in Part I, can apply. However, they must submit a Hope Certificate from the head of their institution.

If such candidates fail to achieve 55% in final results, they will be declared ineligible at any stage.
