## Institutional Fellowships & Financial Aid

A. PAEC Fellowships (For Engineers, MBBS Doctors & Scientists)

Sponsored entirely by the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) for selected MS/MSc students joining PIEAS or KINPOE-C:

• Monthly Stipend: Rs. 58,800/- per month throughout the program.

• Tuition Fee: Full tuition fee waiver.

• Medical Benefits: Free indoor medical insurance treatment for the student.

• Service Bond: Appointed fellows must sign a legal bond to serve PAEC or strategic state departments for 5 years immediately after completing their degree.

B. PhD Graduate Assistantships

• Stipend Rate: Rs. 75,000/- per month.

• Requirement: Scholars are assigned academic duties such as assisting in labs and teaching hours during semesters.

C. IT Endowment Fund Scholarships

Specialized funding for computing/advanced technology programs:

• MS Students: Rs. 25,000/- per month.

• PhD Students: Rs. 41,500/- per month.

• Service Bond: Requires 3 years of service within national sectors after graduation.

D. Additional Aid Programs

• International Students: Offers the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme (MSCFP) via the IAEA or dedicated institutional sub-allocations.

• Need-Based Financial Support: Available to up to 25% of regular (non-fellowship) students experiencing financial difficulties.

## Eligibility Criteria

For MS / MPhil Programs

• Nationality: All Pakistani nationals are eligible.

• Academic Threshold: Minimum 50% marks (or 2nd Division) throughout the academic career (Matric to Final degree) under the annual system. For semester systems, a minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 is mandatory.

• Age Limits (As of June 30, 2026):

  • Maximum 32 years for MBBS Doctors/Scientists.

  • Maximum 27 years for all other engineering and basic science disciplines.

• Additional Assessments: Candidates are required to undergo a comprehensive departmental test, panel interview, and clear a designated psychological fitness evaluation.

## Application Process

PIEAS manages a completely paperless registration process. Hard copy applications will not be processed.

1. Portal Access: Go to the centralized admissions portal at admissions.pieas.edu.pk.

2. Account Registration: Register an account using the applicant's unique CNIC / B-Form number.

3. Data Filling & Document Upload: Input complete academic records and upload scanned documents (Degrees, Transcripts, CNIC, and a passport photograph).

4. Fee Submission: Generate the bank payment challan from the portal.

   • Regular Registration Fee: Rs. 3,500/-

   • Late Window Registration Fee: Rs. 5,000/-

5. Admit Card: Upon payment verification, download your entry test call letter/roll number slip detailing your designated test center location across major Pakistani cities.
