ADMISSION NOTICE

MS NURSING SESSION 2026-2028

COLLEGE OF NURSING, NISHTAR MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, MULTAN

Applications are invited for admission in Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) for the Session 2026-2028 in College of Nursing, Nishtar Medical University, Multan.

Eligibility Criteria

MSN 02-Years Four (04) years of Generic BSc Nursing, along with one (01) year of mandatory internship OR Two (02) years post RN Nursing OR Any other degree recognized by the Pakistan Nursing Council as equivalent to aforementioned degrees

Terms and Conditions

  1. Application form can be downloaded from NMU official website www.nmu.edu.pk. (Print Form on single side of Page)

  2. The Terms and Conditions are available on the Admission Form.

  3. Last date of submission of application is 12.09.2026 till 03.00 PM.

  4. Only the candidates with Domicile of Punjab Province are eligible for admission.

  5. The candidates will have to submit Bank Draft of Rs. 1500/- (Processing Fee, Non-Refundable) along with application to the name of Vice Chancellor Nishtar Medical University, Multan.

  6. A separate Bank Draft of Rs. 3000/- to the name of Vice Chancellor Nishtar Medical University, Multan will have to be submitted as an Entrance Test fee.

  7. It is mandatory to pass the Entry Test which will be held at Nishtar Medical University, Multan on 24.09.2026.

  8. Entrance Test Format:

    • Field Knowledge — 70 Marks

    • English — 10 Marks

    • Basic Computer Science — 10 Marks

    • Biostatistics & Analytical — 10 Marks

    • Total — 100 Marks

    • Pass Marks — 50

  9. Filled admission forms along with all the attested documents 2 sets of copies must be submitted (By Hand) in the office of the Principal, College of Nursing, Nishtar Medical University, Multan till 03.00 PM on 12.09.2026.

  10. Applications received after the last date and incomplete applications will not be entertained.

  11. After scrutiny of documents, only the eligible candidates will be called for appearing in Entrance Test.

  12. Entrance Test Admittance Cards will be available in College of Nursing, Nishtar Medical University, Multan and also on NMU official website www.nmu.edu.pk.

  13. The Govt. employees (Regular) shall have to submit NOC issued by the Head of their institutes along with application.

  14. The schedule of interview shall be notified on the official website of NMU www.nmu.edu.pk.

  15. The admission shall be granted on open merit only.

  16. The NMU has the right to cancel the admission process at any stage.

  17. No stipend or hostel facility shall be provided.

  18. Candidate shall not be allowed if he/she has already availed any placement & course during the last three years (as per Govt. rules). If found, his/her admission will be cancelled at any stage.
