NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR ADMISSION

Ph.D PROGRAMME – ACADEMIC SESSION 2024-2025

Programme Offered

• Ph.D in Epidemiology & Public Health

• Duration: 3 Years

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

   • Must have completed M.Phil or equivalent qualification.

   • Minimum 3.0 CGPA (Semester System) or 1st Division (Annual System).

   • Equivalence from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) required for equivalent qualifications.

2. Medical Graduate Eligibility

   • MBBS/BDS from a PMDC-recognized institution (Schedule I & II of PMDC Act).

   • Completion of one-year house job in a PMDC-recognized institution.

   • Must have valid PMDC registration as a Medical or Dental Practitioner.

3. Foreign Graduates

   • Must obtain degree equivalence from PMDC/HEC.

4. Admission Test

   • A Computer-Based Subject/Discipline Test will be conducted by the Postgraduate Medical Centre, LUMHS.

5. Merit Preferences

   • Preference given to candidates with research experience and publications.

6. Interview Process

   • Shortlisted candidates will appear before the Postgraduate Committee for interviews.
