PhD in Psychiatry / Public Mental Health (Session 2025-26)

Khyber Medical University (KMU) invites applications from talented and highly motivated candidates for a fully funded full-time PhD position in Public Mental Health.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualifications:
- MBBS degree
- FCPS or equivalent in Psychiatry or completion of FCPS training in Psychiatry
Age Limit:
- Up to 40 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:
  - Global Health
  - Public Health
  - Epidemiology
  - Biostatistics
  - Health Research
- Degree must be from a PMDC/HEC-recognized university or institution
Experience:
- Preference will be given to candidates with clinical research experience in mental health
Language Proficiency:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
