ADMISSION NOTICE

BS (Hons) Medical Laboratory Technology

Session 2026 (Fall)

INTRODUCTION

The Institute of Public Health is a government institution with over a century of educational excellence. Admissions are invited from male and female students for BS (Hons) Medical Laboratory Technology (4-Year Degree Program, Semester Based), affiliated with the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore.

Admission forms can be obtained from the Institute's office at a cost of Rs. 2000/-.

Form Submission Dates: 13-08-2026 to 19-09-2026
Timing: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (during office hours)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Admissions for BS (Hons) Medical Laboratory Technology will be conducted under the rules and policies of the Institute of Public Health and the Government of Punjab Health Department.

#	Criteria
1	Candidates must have passed FSc Pre-Medical or FSc Medical Laboratory Technology from a Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education with a minimum of 60% unadjusted marks.
2	Merit will be determined based on the result of FSc Pre-Medical Part I. If a candidate fails to obtain the required 60% aggregate marks in FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent examination, their merit will be considered regardless of this, based on Part I results.
3	Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the IPH Entry Test 2026.
4	Candidates will be solely responsible for the verification of all entries and documents before submitting the application. No changes will be allowed thereafter.
5	The IPH Entry Test will consist of 100 MCQs – 25 MCQs each from English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
6	Admission will be made purely on merit basis.
7	All admissions will be on Punjab Province basis; therefore, all applicants must possess a Punjab Domicile.
8	Admission fee of Rs. 16,000/- will be charged at the time of admission.
9	University registration, examination fees, document attestation, etc., will be collected according to the policy prescribed by the respective Board/University.
10	For admission to programs affiliated with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and University of Health Sciences (UHS), candidates must get their educational documents verified from IBCC and submit them during the admission process. Verification of relevant technology documents from IBCC is also mandatory.
11	Attach attested copies of the following documents with the admission form.

IMPORTANT NOTES

UHS Registration No. 11/2112-UHS/REG dated 23-11-2011 – No application will be rejected on this basis.
Merit List 1: Will be displayed on 21-09-2026 at 10:00 AM.
Merit List 2: Will be displayed on 30-09-2026 (if required).
Merit List 3: Will be displayed on 03-10-2026 (if required).
Entry Test: 07-10-2026 at 09:00 AM.
No separate call letters will be issued for the entry test, and no travel expenses will be reimbursed.
All successful candidates must submit original documents at the time of interview and admission.
Classes will commence from 19-10-2026.
