LAW ADMISSION TEST (LAT)
Admission in Four-Year LLB Degree Programme in Pakistani Universities/Institutions
INTRODUCTION
The Education Testing Council (ETC) is conducting the Law Admission Test (LAT) for students who intend to seek admission in the four-year undergraduate LLB Degree Programme in HEC/PBC recognized public or private universities/institutions or affiliated colleges having valid affiliation with public sector universities.
The test is being conducted in compliance with the directions of the Honorable Supreme Court vide its Order dated March 6, 2018 and Judgment dated August 31, 2018 passed in C.P.134/2012.
WHO CAN APPLY FOR LAT?
Students who have:

| 2. | Appeared in HSSC or equivalent examinations and the result is awaited |
| 3. | Candidates who have already qualified the Law Admission Test (LAT) may reappear in the test to improve their score for consideration in universities and colleges |

Note: Any change in the test date will be notified through http://hec.gov.pk and http://etc.hec.gov.pk
ETC conducts LAT on a quarterly basis in the major cities of Pakistan. For next test dates, kindly check the Test Calendar 2025 at the ETC website.
HOW TO APPLY

| 2. | In case of any difficulty during registration, please visit https://onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk |
| 3. | After completion of registration data/information, candidates need to SUBMIT the application. Only SUBMITTED applications are considered. Applications in INCOMPLETE mode will not be entertained. |
| 4. | Candidates must get the closure of the web registration portal. Queries/complaints handling beyond the registration deadline is denied by the system due to logistics/security reasons. |
| 5. | Kindly check your personal ID number, cell number, etc. before submitting your application. You will not be allowed to sit in the test if there is any difference in Original CNIC and application data. |
| 6. | Candidates are strictly NOT allowed to register or apply using the CNIC of their parents, siblings, or other individuals. Candidates doing so shall not be allowed to the premises of the Test Centre. |

ROLL NUMBER SLIP

| Notification | Email/SMS will also be sent to registered applicants about the off Roll Number Slip |
| Important | While filling out online application forms, candidates are required to provide their valid email/mobile numbers on which they wish to receive their Roll Number Slips |
| Note | SMS shall not be sent to mobile numbers that have been converted from one network to another network. These applicants will get this information through their email |
TEST DAY REQUIREMENTS

| For Candidates Under 18 Years | Must bring their original B-Form/Original NADRA Juvenile Card/Smart Card along with their original SSC/HSSC certificate bearing their photograph |
TEST CENTRES

| Selection | Applicants may select any Test Centre from the list available in the application form |
| Note | Test Centre will not be changed after registration. However, ETC reserves the right to assign another Test Centre if the minimum applicants are less than 250 in the selected Test City/Centre |
