1. Admission Basis & Offered Programs

Admissions are governed by the Punjab Higher Education Department policy. Because 10th-grade annual results are pending, GCWUS is offering provisional (conditional) admission based on 9th-grade results. These admissions will only be finalized once the student passes the 10th-grade annual exams.

The university offers admission in the following five streams:

  • Pre-Medical

  • Pre-Engineering

  • ICS (Intermediate in Computer Science)

  • I.Com (Intermediate in Commerce)

  • Arts

2. Eligibility & Necessary Documentation

Applicants must be no older than 21 years on the closing date. Candidates applying on the Hafiz-e-Quran quota will receive 20 additional marks upon verification.

Students must submit the printed online application form along with physical copies of the following documents to the Intermediate Coordinator (by hand or courier):

  • 9th Class / Secondary School Certificate

  • Student’s Form "B"

  • 3 passport-size photographs (with a blue background)

  • CNIC of Father or Guardian

  • Relevant Quota / Hafiz-e-Quran Certificate (if applicable)

  • Original Migration Certificate/NOC (Mandatory only for students migrating from boards other than the Gujranwala Board).

GCWUS allocates specific seats across various categories. Valid certificates from authorized institutions must be attached to qualify for these quotas:

  • Sports Quota & Co-curricular Activities Quota

  • Differently-Abled Persons (Disabled) Quota

  • Overseas Pakistanis Quota & Foreign Nationality Quota

  • GCWUS Employees' Children Quota

4. Application Logistics & Key Dates

The application process is fully digitalized for the initial phase, with fee payments accepted at any branch of The Bank of Punjab (BOP) or Habib Bank Limited (HBL) via an online-generated challan.
