Applicants may apply if they have one of the following qualifications:

Graduates of Medical and Dental Colleges recognized by PM&DC with valid registration
Medical and Dental graduates from outside Pakistan with valid registration
Completion of House Job from PM&DC-approved institution
MBBS with 1-year House Job
BDS with 1-year House Job
Pharm-D
BS Nursing (Doctor of Sciences in Nursing)
BS Paramedics / Medical Technology (4 years after F.Sc.)
DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)

Additional Requirements for PhD (Biochemistry)

MPhil Degree in Biochemistry
Minimum CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 (Semester System) or First Division (Annual System)
GRE/GAT (Biochemistry) with minimum 60% qualifying score
OR
University Entry Test with minimum 70% score
