ADMISSION NOTICE

MBBS ADMISSION UNDER THE CATEGORY OF IEAP LOCAL & OVERSEAS PAKISTANIS

For Session 2026-27

1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR OVERSEAS CANDIDATES

  1. Marks certificate of Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/O Level and Equivalence Certificate duly certified by IBCC.

  2. The candidate shall be eligible for Self Finance / Overseas Quota seats in public and private medical and dental institutions only if he/she:

    • Holds a permanent foreign nationality, OR

    • Is an overseas (being a Pakistani citizen permanently resident in a foreign country), OR

    • Is a Green Card Holder, Iqama Holder, or Maple Card Holder,

    AND has studied and passed Intermediate/FSc/HSSC (12th grade) examination or equivalent from within or outside Pakistan, accompanied by its equivalence certificate issued by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

    AND has studied Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, with at least 80% marks in Intermediate or equivalent qualification.

  3. Students admitted under this quota must complete their entire period of study under the same special category.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR IEAP LOCAL (SELF FINANCE)

  1. The applicants must have Domicile of Tagged Districts as per Government notification.

  2. The applicants must have passed Intermediate/HSSC or FSc (Pre-Medical) group or equivalent examination (e.g., A Level, 12th Grade, etc.) with a minimum of 60% marks.

  3. Candidate must have passed MDCAT 2026/2025/2024 conducted by IBA-Sukkur with at least 55% marks for admission in MBBS.

Notes:

  • The Application Form along with Challan Form can be downloaded from the website: www.gims.edu.pk

  • After paying the challan at MCB, the original receipt, application form, and all required documents should be sent to:

    Directorate of Admissions
    Gambat Medical College @ PAQSIIMS, Gambat
    Via any courier service before the closing date.

  • By hand submission will NOT be acceptable.

  • Applications received after the last date shall NOT be entertained.

  1. As per PM&DC regulations, candidates must have passed MDCAT 2026/2025/2024 with at least 55% marks for admission in MBBS AND qualified:

    • SAT-II with a minimum score of 550 in each subject: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Math, OR

    • A foreign MCAT/UCAT examination with a minimum of 50% marks.

  2. Candidates applying under the category of Overseas Pakistanis should submit proof of his/her father/mother working outside Pakistan.

3. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  10. Father's death certificate (if applicable)

  1. Transcripts/Mark sheet of 10th grade/SSC/O Levels

  2. IBCC Equivalence Certificate of 10th grade/SSC/O Levels

  3. Transcripts/Mark sheet of 12th grade/HSSC/A Levels

  4. IBCC Equivalence Certificate of 12th grade/HSSC/A Levels

  5. High School Diploma (if applicable)

  6. NICOP/CNIC of Candidate

  7. NICOP/CNIC of Father
