BS 4-YEAR DEGREE PROGRAMME IN ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES

Session 2026

1. ABOUT THE COLLEGE

The College of Medical Technology (CMT), Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, is a Federal Public Sector College that envisions improving the quality of life through education, innovation, and cost-effective quality health care at national and international levels.

CMT is seeking applications from highly motivated, innovative, and creative individuals who are desirous to excel in their fields.

2. PROGRAMMES OFFERED (6 DISCIPLINES)

3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Requirement	Details
Academic Qualification	Must have passed HSSC (F.Sc.) with minimum 50% marks in Pre-Medical or Medical Technology (Allied Health Sciences) group.
Entry Test	Must have passed the AHS Entry Test conducted by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), Islamabad in September 2025 with at least 50% marks.
Gender	Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Age Limit	Maximum age at the closing date of advertisement is 20 years.

4. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS

A. Hope Certificate Candidates

Candidates who have appeared in the HSSC Annual Exam 2026 and are awaiting results may apply.
Such candidates must submit a Hope Certificate from their respective institution along with the HSSC Roll Number Slip.
Mandatory: Submitted HSSC result within 03 days of its declaration. Failure to do so shall render the application liable to rejection.

B. Merit List Preparation Policy

Merit List	Criteria
First Merit List	Prepared strictly in accordance with the approved quota policy from eligible candidates who passed HSSC in 2026, followed by the waiting list from the year 2025 for vacant seats.
Second Merit List	Prepared (only if required) from the remaining eligible candidates who passed HSSC in 2026, followed by the waiting list from 2025, for vacant seats.

C. Government Employees

Candidates working in any Government Sector must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments.

D. Domicile Requirement

Domicile Certificate of the student is mandatory at the time of submission of the application form; otherwise, the application will not be entertained.

E. Disability Quota

The quota for Persons with Disabilities shall be observed in accordance with the approved quota policy.
A valid Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority must be attached with the application form.

F. Selection & Verification

The list of Provisionally Selected Candidates shall be displayed on the notice board of CMT, PIMS, Islamabad.
Final selection shall be subject to presentation and verification of original documents by the Administration Section, CMT, PIMS, Islamabad.

G. Reservation of Seats

20% seats are reserved for Technology Groups (as per policy).

H. Preference for Disciplines

Applicants applying for more than one discipline must mention those disciplines in order of preference on the given form.

5. MERIT CALCULATION (WEIGHTAGE FORMULA)

6. HOW TO APPLY

Step	Instruction
1. Obtain Form	Admission forms along with Prospectus shall be available at the office of the Cashier, College of Medical Technology (PIMS), Islamabad on payment of Rs. 1,000/-.
2. Read Carefully	Applicants are advised to carefully read the eligibility criteria before purchasing the Prospectus and Application Form. The Prospectus/Application Form, once purchased, shall not be refundable or exchangeable.
3. Submission	Duly filled forms will be collected at the College of Medical Technology (PIMS) uptill 14-09-2026.
4. Multiple Disciplines	Candidates applying for more than one discipline must indicate their order of preference on the form.

8. IMPORTANT NOTES

Note	Details
Incomplete Applications	Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date shall not be entertained.
Hostel Facility (Male)	Hostel accommodation shall be provided to male students only, subject to availability and in accordance with the approved hostel allotment policy.
Hostel Facility (Female)	No hostel facility is available for female students.
Forged Documents	Submission of forged or fabricated documents shall result in cancellation of admission and legal / disciplinary action under applicable rules.
Reservation of Rights	The Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any admission at any stage without assigning any reason, in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
