ADMISSION NOTICE: FIRST YEAR CLASS (ENTRY-2026)

Applications are officially invited for admissions to the First Year (Intermediate Part-I) class for the academic session 2026 at Cadet College Jhelum.

Academic Streams Offered

• Pre-Engineering

• Pre-Medical

• ICS (Intermediate in Computer Science)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must strictly fulfill the following baseline entry requirements:

• Age Limit: Minimum 14½ years and maximum 17½ years of age computed as of July 01, 2026.

• Academic Qualification:

  • Candidates who have successfully passed their Matriculation examination.

  • Candidates currently appearing in the Annual Matriculation (Part-II) Examinations 2026 are also eligible to apply on a hopeful basis.

• Marital Status: Unmarried.

• Gender: Only male candidates are eligible to apply.

Selection Process

Admissions are highly competitive and granted strictly on an Open Merit Basis through a multi-stage evaluation pipeline:

1. Written Entrance Examination: Candidates must take a comprehensive academic test covering English, Urdu, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The test questions are derived directly from the 9th and 10th-grade syllabi of the Textbook Boards.

2. Intelligence Testing: Evaluation of cognitive abilities and psychological fitness.

3. Formal Interview: Viva-voce assessment by the selection board.

4. Medical Examination: Final medical clearance to ensure physical fitness for cadet training routines.

Examination Centers

The entry test will be administered concurrently across the following major cities:

Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Faisalabad, Quetta, Karachi, Bahawalpur, Multan, Muzaffarabad, and Sialkot.

Application Process & Key Dates

• Registration Mechanism: Application forms are available exclusively on the official college web portal. Candidates must fill out and submit the registration documentation online.

• Registration Fee: PKR 3,000 (Inclusive of the college prospectus, model question papers, and entrance exam syllabus).

• Application Deadline: June 06, 2026

• Entrance Examination Date: June 14, 2026 (Sunday)

Notice for Lower School Admissions

Cadet College Jhelum is also concurrently accepting online applications for induction into the 7th and 8th classes. The entrance exams for the 7th, 8th, and 11th classes will all be conducted on the same day: Sunday, June 14, 2026 at the designated regional centers.
