Admissions in Class-IX (Academic Session 2025-26)

1. Eligibility Criteria:

a) Age Requirement:

• Candidates must be 14 to 15 years old on 1st May 2025.
• No relaxation in age is permissible.

b) Academic Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed Class VIII.
• Students appearing in the Annual Examination of Class VIII in 2025 are also eligible to apply.

2. Written Examination Details:

a) Date of Entry Test:

• 6th April 2025

b) Test Centre:

• Cadet College Ghotki

c) Subjects of the Entry Test:

• English + General Knowledge (Pakistan Studies & General Science)
• Mathematics
• Urdu/Sindhi
• (Based on the Sindh Textbook Board Class VIII Syllabus - New Edition)

d) Selection Process:

• Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for an interview and medical examination.
• The exact dates will be intimated later.

3. Prospectus & Admission Forms:

a) Availability of Prospectus:

• Can be obtained from Cadet College Ghotki for Rs. 2500/- by hand.
• Rs. 2600/- by post through Demand Draft in favor of Cadet College Ghotki.

b) Form Submission Deadline:

• Last date for submission of admission forms: 3rd April 2025.
• No application will be entertained after 4th April 2025.

c) Online Form Download:

• Admission forms can also be downloaded from the college website: www.ccg.edu.pk.

4. Scholarships for Wards of Armed Forces Shuhada

5 seats are reserved for wards of Shuhada, with the following scholarship structure:

1. 1st Position – 100% Fee Waiver
2. 2nd to 5th Positions – 50% Tuition Fee Waiver (Admission/Security Fee Exempted)

Conditions for Scholarship:

• Candidate must be domiciled in District Ghotki.
• Candidate must pass the College Entry Test.
• In case of multiple candidates, scholarships will be awarded based on the merit list.
• Candidates must provide documentary proof as per GHQ requirements.

5. Additional Admissions

Limited seats are also available on a merit basis in Classes VII & VIII.
