B.Sc. (Hons.) AGRICULTURE — Session 2026-30, Spring 2027 Semester

1. INSTITUTIONAL OVERVIEW

Balochistan Agriculture College, Quetta, is a public-sector institution affiliated with the University of Balochistan, Quetta. Established in 1987, the College has been providing professional education in the field of Agriculture.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Program for Spring Semester 2027 (Session 2026-30).

Accreditation: All agricultural disciplines offered by Balochistan Agriculture College are accredited by the National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION IN B.Sc. (HONS.) AGRICULTURE

2.1 Eligibility / Minimum Qualification

Candidates must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering) with at least 50% marks (minimum 550 out of 1100 marks).

Note: Candidates holding ICS, F.A., or those securing less than 550 marks are not eligible to apply.

5. ENTRY TEST

All eligible candidates shall be required to appear in an Entry Test conducted by the Testing Service.

5.1 Test Composition

The test shall be based on the F.Sc. curriculum and comprise 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), distributed as follows:

Note: Candidates shall be required to attempt either Biology or Mathematics according to their F.Sc. group.

6. NOC WITH STUDY LEAVE

Employees of the Agriculture Department are required to provide:

• NOC (No Objection Certificate)

• 4-year study leave

7. ENTRY TEST DATE AND VENUE

7.1 Roll Number Slips

• Candidates shall download their Roll Number Slips from the official website of the designated Testing Service.

• Candidates must bring the Roll Number Slip to the Entry Test venue.

8. INSTRUCTIONS AND FACILITIES FOR STUDENTS

1. Merit-Based Admission: Admission shall be granted strictly on merit in accordance with the prescribed provincial, district, and reserved quotas.

2. Prospectus: Details regarding degree programs, fee structure, eligibility criteria, and other relevant information are available in the Prospectus, accessible online through the college website: www.bac.edu.pk.

3. Documents Required: Applicants shall upload/submit two attested copies of the following:

   • Matriculation (SSC) DMCs/Certificates

   • Intermediate (HSSC) DMCs/Certificates

   • CNIC / B-Form

   • Local/Domicile Certificate

   • Four recent passport-size photographs

4. Submission Deadline: The online-generated admission form, along with the required attested documents and original fee deposit slip/challan, must reach the Office of the Registrar, Balochistan Agriculture College, Quetta, by 30-11-2026.

5. Laboratories: The College has fully equipped computer laboratories and departmental laboratories to facilitate academic and practical training.

6. Hostel Accommodation: Hostel accommodation shall be provided subject to availability and in accordance with the rules of the College.
