The admission process for multiple field begun since 1st August 2025. The last date to apply for admission was 8th August 2025, so ensure you submit your applications on time.   •  LCWU Merit List Released: We are delighted to inform you that the much-awaited LCWU Merit List has been officially released. The list includes the names of candidates who have successfully secured admission to various programs offered by the university.
  • Admissions Closed on 8th August 2025: The admissions process for the academic year 2025-2025 officially concluded on 8th August 2025. We appreciate the overwhelming response from all the applicants and extend our gratitude for considering LCWU for your higher education journey.

About

Lahore College for Women University is an autonomous university for women in Lahore. The institute was set up as college for women in May 1922. LCWU is one of the oldest female educational institutes in Pakistan.

Lahore College for Women University has 15,000 aspirants while a teaching faculty of almost 450. The university offer admission to the students at intermediate, bachelors, master’s and PhD level.

Admissions

Every year LCWU opens admissions at the intermediate level soon after the declaration of the matric annual exams result. 

 

Applying Process

To apply for the admissions at an intermediate level the candidates can get the prospectus from the college’s admission office from August 1, 2025, to August 8th, 2025, from 09:00 am to 03:00 pm and are required to submit the application forms at the same place till due date

Candidates can also download the admission forms from the official website of LCWU (www.lcwu.edu.pk) and the admission fee, in this case, deposited together with the admission form to the college to get a prospectus copy

 

Required Documents

Candidates are advised to attach the following attested documents along with their admission forms.

  1. Attested Photocopy of Matriculation/O'Level/Equivalent Certificate
  2. Attested Character Certificate from the Head of your school
  3. Attested Photocopy of CNIC of Father/Guardian.
  4. Attested recent photographs
  5. Attested B-Form

 

Reserved Seats

  1. 2% quota is reserved for the Disables
  2. 2% quota is reserved for the students who wish to apply on a sports base
  3. there are 15 seats reserved for international students
  4. there are 25 seats reserved for the students who come from other provinces

 

Important Note for students

o   The aspirants who have done matric from the board other than BISE Lahore must bring their original CNIC at the time of the interview.

o   The aspirants who wish to apply in more than one category are required to submit a separate form for each category.  

o   The college offers intermediate admissions only to Female candidates.
