Applications are invited on prescribed forms from eligible male and female candidates for admission to undergraduate programs (BS 4 Year / 5 Year & BS 5th Semester Lateral Entry) and graduate programs (MPhil/MS/PhD) for the Fall 2026 academic session at the University of Buner, in the following disciplines:

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

BS 4 & 5 Year Programs	Eligibility
BS Computer Science BS Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) BS Computer Science (Cyber Security)	Higher Secondary School Certificate / A-Levels (Involving Minimum 12 Years of Schooling) or an IBCC equivalent Qualification with at least 50% marks & having studied Mathematics is the basic eligibility requirement for admission in all BS Computing Programs. The student who have not studied mathematics at intermediate level have to pass deficiency courses of Mathematics (06 credits) in first year.
BS Electronics and Computing	F. Sc (Pre-Engineering/Pre Medical) / DAE/F.C. S, or equivalent with at least 2nd division (45% Marks).
BS Mathematics BS Mathematics with Data Science	F.Sc (Pre-Engineering/Pre Medical)/ DAE/FA-Inter Science or equivalent with Math, with at least 2nd Division (45% Marks)

In case of foreign MS/MPhil degree, the candidate is required to submit equivalency certificate issued by HEC.

Merit Determination Weightage: Academics 50%, Test 30%, & Interview 20%.

Instructions:

Application forms for BS programs in two disciplines are available online or can be obtained from the office of the Director Admissions and Academics at the University of Buner for @ Rs. 1000.
Applicants wishing to apply for more than two disciplines must obtain a separate application form for each further two disciplines.
For MPhil/MS/PhD programs, apply online or obtain application forms from the Office of the Director Admissions and Academics, University of Buner, for Rs. 1,500/-.
Students will apply for BS programs (4/5 years) based on their First-Year results
For BS programs, merit will be determined based on First Year marks and SSC marks as per approved eligibility criteria.
Admissions based on First Year results will remain provisional until the declaration of Intermediate examination results. Candidates who fail to pass the HSSC examination or meet the minimum eligibility criteria will not be eligible for admission, and their fees will be refunded in accordance with the University’s refund policy or the approved HEC refund policy, calculated from the result declaration date.
Application forms, accompanied by attested copies of all relevant documents, must reach the Office of the Director Admissions and Academics on or before the due date. Incomplete admission forms and forms received after the due date will not be entertained.
The maximum age limit for admission is as per HEC policy.
A Migration Certificate and Verified Photocopy of DMC’s/transcript last examination must be produced within one month after admission.
All admissions will be granted strictly on merit.
The University reserves the right to withdraw any program, amend the policy governing programs, or make necessary modifications in programs or courses of study as and when deemed necessary.
