M.Sc. (Hons) & Ph.D Degree Programs

The University of Agriculture Swat is a public sector university accredited by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The University offers an excellent learning environment for postgraduate studies in Agriculture, with special emphasis on Climate Change and Mountainous Agriculture, under the supervision of highly qualified and experienced faculty.

Admissions are invited for M.Sc. (Hons) and Ph.D degree programs in the following disciplines.

University Admission Test

• GAT (General): Required for M.Sc. (Hons) admissions

• GAT (Subject): Required for Ph.D admissions

• Minimum Qualifying Score:

  • 50% for M.Sc. (Hons)

  • 60% for Ph.D

• Valid NTS GAT-General (for M.Sc. Hons) and GAT-Subject (for Ph.D) are also acceptable.

Admission Procedure

1. Candidates must apply online for the admission test through the university website:

2. Deposit Test Fee of Rs. 1,500/- (Non-Refundable) at any branch of the Bank of Khyber:

   • Account Title: University of Agriculture Swat

   • Account No.: PK42KHYB5203003004012339

3. Submit hard copies of the Admission Test Form along with the original bank deposit receipt to the DASAR Office on or before 28 January 2026.

4. University Admission Test Date: 31 January 2026

5. Only candidates who submit their Admission Test Forms to the DASAR office within the due date will be allowed to appear in the test. Late submissions will not be entertained.

6. Test Results and Admission Forms will be available on the admission portal from 02 February 2026.

7. Interviews and Document Verification of successful candidates will be held on 07 February 2026.

8. Selected candidates must submit duly attested admission forms and required documents to the DASAR office by 13 February 2026.
