Admission Notice – Spring 2026

Online applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission against open merit seats only in the following undergraduate degree programs at The University of Agriculture, Peshawar.

1. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture

2. BS Food Science & Technology

3. BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics

4. BBA (Hons.)

5. BS Computer Science (CS)

6. BS English

Availability of Admission Forms

• Admission forms and bank challan can be downloaded from the official website:
  🌐 www.aup.edu.pk

• Forms will be available from 15 December 2025

Application Fee

• Rs. 1,000/- (Non-Refundable) for one category

• Rs. 500/- (Non-Refundable) for each additional category

Applicants must download the bank receipt from the university website and deposit the fee in any branch of Bank of Khyber, Pakistan.

Submission of Application

• A hard copy of the completed application form, along with:

  • Attested copies of required documents

  • Original bank receipt

• Must reach the Directorate of Teaching, University of Agriculture, Peshawar

• Last Date: 09 January 2026

Merit Criteria

Merit for admission to Bachelor degree programs will be determined on the basis of:

• SSC Marks: 40% weight

• HSSC (Part-I / 1st Year) or equivalent Marks: 60% weight

Important Notes on Merit

• Admissions granted on HSSC Part-I marks will remain provisional until declaration of HSSC Part-II results

• No adjustment in merit will be allowed after final results

• Provisional admission will be cancelled if minimum eligibility criteria are not met in HSSC Part-II

• In such cases, the admission fee will be refunded as per university rules

Age Limit

Candidates who have attained or will attain the age of 25 years on the last date of submission of application forms are not eligible for admission to Bachelor degree programs.

Eligibility Criteria (Program-wise)

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture

• F.Sc. Pre-Medical / Pre-Engineering (minimum 45% marks in SSC & HSSC), OR

• Diploma in Agriculture Sciences (DAS) with 45% marks in SSC and 2.00 CGPA in DAS

BS Food Science & Technology

• F.Sc. Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering

• Minimum 45% marks in SSC & HSSC

BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics

• F.Sc. Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering

• Minimum 45% marks in SSC & HSSC

BBA (Hons.)

• F.Sc. / D.Com / DBA / I.Com / DAE / ICS

• OR F.A. with at least one subject: Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics

• Minimum 45% marks in SSC & HSSC

• Equivalency certificate required where applicable

BS Computer Science (CS)

• F.Sc. / FCS / DAE / Intermediate in General Science or Computer Science or equivalent

• Minimum 45% marks in SSC and 50% marks in HSSC

BS English

• F.A. / F.Sc. with minimum 45% marks in SSC & HSSC

Merit List & Regulations

• Merit lists will be displayed on the official university website after the last date of application submission

• Rules and regulations regarding admission, examinations, hostels, and fee structure are available on the university website

Hostel & Scholarship Facilities

• Hostel accommodation will be provided on merit and subject to availability

• The University offers financial assistance and scholarships through:

  • Higher Education Commission (HEC)

  • USAID

  • Other national and international scholarship programs

• Merit-based scholarships are also awarded to students with high academic achievements
