Program Overview

The Government of Punjab, through the Health & Population Welfare Department, has announced admissions for Associate Degree in Midwifery across all districts of Punjab.

Specialized Midwifery Schools have been established in selected:

• District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospitals
• Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospitals

These institutes are affiliated with government health facilities to provide professional training in midwifery.

Objective of the Program

• Train professional midwives across Punjab
• Improve maternal and child healthcare services
• Strengthen healthcare workforce in DHQ & THQ hospitals
• Provide free or government-supported medical education opportunities

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• FSc (Pre-Medical) with at least 45% marks (preferred basis)
• Qualification must be from a recognized board

Domicile Requirement

• Candidate must have Punjab domicile

Hafiz-e-Quran (Optional Preference)

• Hafiz candidates must provide a certificate from a registered institution

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years
• Age will be calculated up to the closing date of application

Special Instruction

• Candidates who have already applied for LHV (Lady Health Visitor) do not need to apply again
