1. INTRODUCTION

3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

3.1 Academic Qualification

Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

FCPS (Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons)
MSPH (Master of Science in Public Health)
Any other relevant qualification as determined by the University

3.2 Entrance Test Requirement

Applicants must have:

60% percentile in Subject GRE, OR
60% marks in the Entrance Test of equivalent level conducted by the University

3.3 Exemption from RMU Entrance Test

Candidates who have already passed:

GAT/HAT Subject with minimum 60% marks, OR
Have a valid GRE-Subject Test with minimum 60 percentile score

...will be exempted from the RMU entrance test. However, they must qualify in the interview.

4. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE (SOP) REQUIREMENT

Each applicant must submit a Statement of Purpose with a word limit of approximately 800 to 1200 words (12-point font). This document shall form an integral part of the application.

The SOP must include the following four sections:

a. Title	Title of the potential research proposal
b. Current Understanding	Clear articulation of the current understanding of the intended field and ideas for potential research
c. Intended Impact	Explanation of the intended impact of the proposed research
d. Passion & Enthusiasm	Demonstration of passion and enthusiasm for the area of research

5. APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Step 1: Online Application

Submit the online admission form along with:
- Scanned copy of all required documents
- Bank draft of Rs. 5,000/- (Non-refundable) in favor of the Vice Chancellor, Rawalpindi Medical University

Step 2: Submission of Hard Copies

Dispatch the hardcopy of the submitted form along with:
- Attested copies of all documents
- Original bank draft

6. TEST & INTERVIEW SCHEDULE

Notification	Shortlisted candidates will be notified on the university's website
TA/DA	No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the test/interview

7. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
