MBBS & BDS Admissions – Public Sector Medical and Dental Colleges, Punjab

Session 2025–2026


Extension in Application Deadline & Amendment in Eligibility Criteria for Overseas Pakistani / Dual National (Expatriate) Seats

With reference to the earlier admission advertisement published in national newspapers under SPL No. 1962, the following amendments are hereby notified for admissions to public sector medical and dental colleges of Punjab:


1. Extension of Application Deadline

The Provincial Admission Committee (PAC), in its meeting held on 19-11-2025, has decided to extend the deadline for online applications for MBBS and BDS programs.
The revised schedule is as follows:

2. Amendment in Eligibility Criteria (Overseas Pakistani / Dual Nationals)

In compliance with the PMDC “Medical & Dental Undergraduates Education Policy & Regulations 2025”, notified on 05-11-2025, the updated eligibility criteria for Overseas Pakistani / Dual Nationals seats is:

Revised Eligibility Conditions

A candidate shall be eligible ONLY if he/she:

  1. Holds a permanent foreign nationalityOR

  2. Is an Overseas Pakistani, i.e., a Pakistani citizen permanently residing abroad (including Green Card holders, Iqama holders, Maple Card holders), AND

  3. Has passed Intermediate/FSc/HSSC (12th Grade) or an equivalent qualification (inside or outside Pakistan), with:

    • Equivalence certificate issued by IBCC

    • Biology and Chemistry as compulsory subjects

    • Minimum 60% marks in Intermediate or equivalent

All other terms and conditions notified earlier remain unchanged.

Extension in Application Deadline & Amendment in Eligibility Criteria for Overseas Pakistani / Dual National (Expatriate) Seats

With reference to the advertisement under SPL No. 1963, the following amendments apply to private sector MBBS/BDS admissions:


1. Extension of Application Deadline

As per the PAC meeting held on 19-11-2025, the revised deadlines for private institutions are:

2. Amendment in Eligibility Criteria (Overseas Pakistani / Dual Nationals)

Aligned with PMDC Regulations 2025, the updated eligibility reads:

Revised Eligibility Conditions

Only those candidates qualify who:

  1. Hold permanent foreign nationalityOR

  2. Are Overseas Pakistanis (permanently residing abroad – Green Card, Iqama, Maple Card holders), AND

  3. Have completed FSc / HSSC / 12th Grade or equivalent (inside or outside Pakistan), with:

    • IBCC equivalence certificate

    • Chemistry and Biology compulsory

    • Minimum 60% marks in Intermediate or equivalent

All previously published rules and conditions remain intact.
