Migration for BSN Generic (4-Year Degree Program) Students

In accordance with the Migration Policy for Public Sector Nursing Colleges, notified by the Government of Punjab on 29 July 2024, online applications are invited from eligible students seeking migration into 2nd and 3rd years of the BSN Generic (4-Year Degree Program) in public sector nursing colleges across Punjab.

🧾 A. Eligibility Criteria

Only students fulfilling the following academic conditions are eligible to apply:

Migration Year/Semester	Annual System	Semester System
2nd Year / 3rd Semester	Passed First Year of BSN	Passed First & Second Semester of BSN
3rd Year	Passed Second Year of BSN	N/A

❌ Students who have failed or are awaiting supplementary results are not eligible.

⚠️ B. Conditions for Migration

Migration will be granted strictly on merit-cum-preference.

Migration is not allowed in:

First Year (1st & 2nd Semesters)

Final Year

Migration between Morning/Evening sessions and between Annual/Semester systems is not allowed.

Your current session type must remain unchanged.

Only one migration is allowed during the entire 4-year program.

Migration within the same city is not permitted.

Mutual exchange/migration between students is not allowed.

📝 C. Application Procedure

Applications must be submitted online only via the UHS Migration Portal

❌ Manual or hard copy applications will not be accepted.

Applicants must select and prioritize 3 colleges (from available vacancies) in the desired year/semester.

Required Documents (Upload Scanned Copies – Max 1MB per file):

CNIC (both sides)

Matriculation Certificate / Result Card

FSc Certificate / Result Card

DMCs of all professional examinations passed

College ID Card (both sides)

Certificate from Principal stating:

All dues cleared

Satisfactory attendance

No pending disciplinary issues

📆 D. Application Schedule

Online Applications Close	30th September 2025 (by 05:00 PM)

📌 E. Important Notes

Vacancy lists will be published on the UHS website: www.uhs.edu.pk

Merit will be determined based on FSc marks at the time of original BSN admission.

Improved marks after admission will not be considered.

Selected candidates must join the allotted college within 7 days of the selection list being published.

Failure to do so will:

Cancel the migration

Disqualify the candidate from future migration requests in this program.

Final migration approvals will be issued by the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of Punjab.
