Affiliation / Renewal of Affiliation Notice (2026-2027)

The University of Gujrat (UOG), established under the Punjab Assembly Act IX of 2004 with jurisdiction across the province of Punjab, invites applications from standard educational institutions for affiliation or renewal of affiliation for the following programs:

1. Associate Degree Programs (ADP)

• Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Botany, Commerce, Chemistry, Computer Science, Education, English, Economics, Environmental Sciences, Fine Arts, Geography, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Information Technology, International Relations, Islamic Studies, Mass Communication & Media, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Physical Education, Psychology, Software Engineering, Statistics, Sociology, Urdu, Zoology.

2. BS Programs (Under Term System)

• All subjects listed above under ADP are available for the 4-year BS Program, including B.Ed (Hons) and Hospitality Management.

3. BS Lateral Entry (5th Semester Induction)

• For candidates with a 2-year ADP degree: BBA (2 Years), BS Chemistry, BS Computer Science, BS English, BS Education, BS Islamic Studies, BS IT, BS Mass Communication, BS Mathematics, BS Physics, BS Physical Education, BS Psychology, BS Political Science, BS Statistics, BS Zoology.

Submission Guidelines & Deadlines

• New Affiliations: Public and private sector colleges within Punjab must submit applications with required documents and a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 10,000 (via bank challan/draft) by June 15, 2026.

• Existing Affiliated Institutions: Applications for extension of affiliation, addition of new subjects/programs, or increase in student seats must be submitted by June 16, 2026.

• Security Fee: Private colleges must deposit the prescribed security fee within 15 days of the issuance of the affiliation letter.

Important Terms & Conditions

1. Jurisdiction: Colleges outside the UOG's immediate territorial limits may apply for affiliation subject to permission from their regional university and the Government.

2. HEC Policy: The HEC Institutional Affiliation Policy 2024 (Revised) is applicable for the current session.

3. Prohibited Admissions: Institutions are strictly prohibited from advertising or enrolling students before formal affiliation is granted. UOG will not be responsible for the results or degrees of students enrolled in non-affiliated institutions.

4. Seat Limits: No institution may enroll students beyond the seats allocated by the University. Legal action will be taken against violators.

5. Professional Councils & NOCs: Programs governed by specific professional councils require an NOC. While an application to a council allows for "Conditional Affiliation," the final responsibility for obtaining the NOC lies with the college.

6. Government Registration: Registration with the DPI (Colleges) for all subjects and programs is mandatory.

7. Inspection: Only institutions that meet all procedural and documentary requirements will be visited by the University Inspection Committee. The University reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason.
