Plan A (Research-Based Master/M.Phil.)
Credit Hours: 32 (26 coursework + 6 research)
Minimum Duration: 2 years
Maximum Duration: 4 years
Plan B (Course-Based Master/M.Phil.)
Credit Hours: 32 (all coursework)
Minimum Duration: 1.5 years
Maximum Duration: 4 years
Master Degree Admission Test Requirements
Test: GRE General / International GAT (General)
Conducted by: UET Peshawar
Passing Score: Minimum 50%
Eligibility Criteria for Master Programs
General Requirement: 16 years of education (Bachelor's or equivalent) in the relevant field.
Engineering Programs: Valid PEC registration required.

Master/M.Phil. or equivalent degree in the relevant field
Minimum CGPA:
3.00/4.00 or 3.75/5.00
OR First Division (if CGPA not mentioned)
Admission Test: GRE General or International GAT (General) by UET Peshawar
Passing Score: Minimum 60%
Note: Candidates below minimum CGPA/marks may apply under conditions outlined in HEC Graduate Education Policy 2023.

50% GAT Score
Ph.D. Candidates
After passing GAT (60%+), submit Research Proposal as per schedule.
