Combined Entrance Test 2026 (Second Phase)
For Admission in Engineering Institutions of Punjab
The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, under the direction of the Government of Punjab, has been conducting the Combined Entrance Test (ECAT) since 1999 for admission to engineering programs in public sector institutions.
This test is mandatory for admission to undergraduate engineering and related programs in both public and private engineering institutions (as per Pakistan Engineering Council guidelines).
For the year 2026, this is the second and final ECAT session. Candidates may appear in both ECAT-I and ECAT-II, and the best score will be considered for merit calculation. There is no passing marks requirement and no negative marking.

Orientation Session
A 15-minute orientation session will be held to guide candidates about the computer-based test system.

Application Process
Step 1: Fee Submission
- Generate and pay challan (PKR 3000)
Step 2: Application Form
- Fill online application form
- Select test center carefully (cannot be changed later)

Step 3: Admit Card
📅 Available on: 10 June 2026 (Evening)
- Must be printed for test entry
Step 4: Test Appearance
- Candidates must appear on assigned date, time, and center
- Missed test will not be rescheduled
Step 5: Result
📅 Result Announcement: 23 June 2026 (Evening)

Marks Scheme
- Each correct answer = 4 marks
- No negative marking
Photo ID Requirement
Candidates must present original photo identification, such as:
- CNIC / NICOP
- Juvenile Card (NADRA)
- Passport
- Form-B (with photo)
- Matric/Intermediate certificate (with photo)
- Domicile (with photo)
- A-Level Statement of Entry
Important Instructions
- Missed test will not be rescheduled
- No re-checking facility available
- Token fee is non-refundable and non-transferable
- Test center once selected cannot be changed
- University reserves the right to modify policies
