• Main Campus Lahore (LHR)

• Faisalabad Campus (FSD)

• New Campus Kala Shah Kaku (KSK)

Only Punjab-domiciled candidates are eligible to apply.

Programs Offered (Spring 2026)

ECAT-Based Programs

Academic Requirement:

• F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering / Computer Science) or equivalent

• Minimum 50% aggregate

Non-ECAT Based Programs

Academic Requirement:

• Intermediate (any approved combination)

• Minimum 50% marks

Fee Details

• Application + Entrance Test Fee: Rs. 5,500/-

• Covers both ECAT and admission processing

• No extra fee for applying to multiple programs

• Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable

Application Procedure

• Applications will be submitted online only

• No physical visit to the University is required

• After payment of challan:

  • Fill out the online application form

  • Carefully select program preferences (cannot be changed later)

• Upon submission, a tracking/application number will be generated

• This number is required to print the admit card

Entrance Test (ECAT – Spring 2026)

• Mandatory for all ECAT-based programs

• Previous ECAT results will NOT be accepted

• Conducted at:

  • UET Lahore Main Campus

  • UET Faisalabad Campus

• Fully automated test (no rechecking facility)

Test Pattern

• Duration: 100 minutes

• Total Questions: 100

  • English: 10 questions

  • Remaining 90 questions equally divided among selected subjects

• Marks: 4 marks per correct answer

• No negative marking

• No passing threshold

Subject Combinations

Candidates must select a combination based on Intermediate subjects:

1. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

2. Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science

3. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science

4. Biology, Physics, Chemistry

5. Mathematics, Statistics, Physics

DAE candidates may choose only:

• Physics, Mathematics, English & Chemistry

• Physics, Mathematics, English & Computer Science

Photo ID Requirement at Test Center

Candidates must bring original photo identification, otherwise entry will be denied. Accepted IDs include:

• CNIC / NICOP

• Juvenile Card (NADRA)

• Passport

• Computerized Domicile

• Matric/Intermediate Certificate with photograph

• Statement of Entry (A-Level)

• NADRA Form-B with photograph
