Eligibility Criteria

1. Education:

   • Minimum 18 years of education (MS/M.Sc./M.Phil. or equivalent) in the relevant discipline with CGPA ≥ 3.0/4.0 or 60% in annual system.

   • For five-year undergraduate Architecture degree, 19 years of education required.

2. CGPA Consideration:

   • If both CGPA and percentage are mentioned, CGPA will be considered.

   • CGPAs on scales other than 4.0 will be converted accordingly.

3. Merit Calculation for Domestic Applicants:

   • 18-year degree weight: 40%

   • Subject Test weight: 40%

   • Interview weight: 20%

4. Merit for International Applicants:

   • 18-year degree weight: 100%

   • CGPA of 3.0 = 60%, 4.0 = 90% (linear interpolation for intermediate scores)

   • Minimum merit aggregate for admission: 70%

Financial Assistance & Scholarships

• Full-time Ph.D. students exempt from tuition fees.

• Eligible students may receive a monthly stipend if CGPA ≥ 3.5 in coursework.

• Research Support Scholarship: 50% reduction in admission charges and 30% tuition waiver.

• Preference for appointment as Teaching Fellow.

Admission Process

1. Prospectus & Application:

   • Available at https://admission.uet.edu.pk

   • Admission process starts: Monday, 10th November 2025

2. Challan Fee: Rs. 3,000/-

   • Payment options:

     • HBL (online banking/HBL KONNECT)

     • UBL (branch, mobile app, UBL Omni)

3. Online Application:

   • Complete application via admission portal using paid challan (valid until Monday, 22nd December 2025)

   • Upload personal and academic documents

4. Subject Test:

   • 80% related subject, 20% general knowledge

   • Conducted at Main Campus (except Textile Engineering)

   • Test dates: 29th December 2025 – 1st January 2026

   • Admit cards issued by respective departments

5. Interview:

   • Only for candidates scoring ≥ 60% in the test

   • Dates: 5th – 9th January 2026

6. Admission Offers:

   • Start: Wednesday, 21st January 2026 (Evening)

7. Commencement of Classes:

   • All campuses: Monday, 2nd February 2026

   • CEWRE classes may include Morning, Evening, and Weekend sessions
